I find this interesting, not for the contents of the analysis,
but its superficiality. Kasparov's analysis is the same as
any duffer's! "Let's see, white moves the rook here, then
black plays this, that looks all right... but black might play
this other move, I don't like that... How about the knight to
c4? yeah, that looks good..." Deep Thought, dude -
We've all seen the published GM games, with reams
of analysis, but how much did they actually see, at
the time? Has any journalist ever interviewed a player,
"ok, we've shown your combination is sound, looking
20 moves deep. Kudos. But how much did you see,
at the board?"
