Do any of you kind people happen to know the telephone number for this
place? The number in the directory has been out of service for weeks
and I've tried 411 but they haven't heard of them.

Thanks

They closed. I forget if they moved - I believe they did, somewhere south.

The Cavendish Club is no longer located in Brookline; it moved to one of
the suburbs. I have a vague recollection that it was Dedham but don't bet
on that. I'll try to find our more info.

Thanks for the info. Does anybody know of anywhere else easily
accessible from central Boston where an intermediate player might
be able to get a game? Thanks.

Why don't you try ftp://209.45.144.70/clubs/UCLUB-MA.TXT which is the
on-line listing of clubs in Massachusetts.

Hi,
I like the game in Newton and they allow you to show up without a partner.
I am going today at 10:15 for the 10:30 game if you would like to join me there.
