Two difficult (?) leads.

1) I hold clubs AK10753 - Partner QJ98 . Neither of you have outside entry or trick. Opponents in 3NT.
Right or wrong I lead Ace.- dummy small singleton. Partner plays 8 ( right or wrong? How do we play.

2) Opponents bid weakly to 6NT. You are on lead with Axxx in Spades. Nothing outside. Partner has KJxx and declarer QX, with 14 tricks on top outside. What do I lead. If I lead AS - I may be setting up King if with declarer as expected from bidding.

Thanks

Starting with the first one, you can't say rightly or wrongly and then
ask how to continue. The point of the opening lead and what partner
plays is to help you with what to continue.

The lead of an Ace against notrump asks partner to drop an honor or
give count. Here your right lead is the 7 of clubs (4th best) and you
will get all your club tricks.

On the second one, the bidding is key as to what to lead. Not sure
what you mean by "weakly" so hard to say if the lead of the Ace of
spades was right.

1. The 8 is a terrible card to play. The Q promises the J and is
correct. With this holding you can then easily underlead the K to the J
and take your tricks. Playing the Q only costs if the lead is from a 3
card suit which is highly unlikely.

2. We can't answer without seeing your whole hand and the auction.
Sometimes it is right to lead the ace but sometime I would make a
passive lead. However as a general rule I find people who bid slams
nearly always have 12 tricks if you give them time to set up their suits
so I tend to lead aggressively to try and set up our tricks first.

1) Lead C7
2) Who knows, without hearing the auction?
