At the post mortem Partner and I had a slight disagreement.

NV VS VUL at Matchpoint Pairs

LHO-1C - Partner-1H - RHO - pass

KT963
AT5
Q654
4

Would you rate the three bids on a scale from 0 - 5 ?

Thank you in advance.

What three bids?

Anyway, the most important question we need answered is: would 1S be forcing in your partnership?

Sorry, I forgot. It's 1S,2S and 2H. And yes 1S is forcing.

You seem to have forgotten 2C which is my choice. The hand is too
good for 2H and have no idea what 2S is in your system. But unless
its somekind of fit showing bid it takes up too much space.

I'll give a 10 to 2C, a 0 to 1S and 2 to 2H. If 2S is fit showing
I'll give it an 8

And how about 2C?

1S: 8 if forcing, 2 if not
2C: 10, shows better than a single raise
2H: 5 underbid.

However, the soundness of a pair's overcalls and the meanings of the
bids might change these scores.

2S, if it is a fit-showing jump, would be a 10

First time in a _long_ time I've disagreed with Will on a defensive
bidding problem. 1S forcing seems completely obvious to me. Second
choice is 2S fit jump, but I think that shows 9 cards in the two suits.
(I might bid it on eight if pressed, but here I'm not feeling
pressed.) 2H is a ludicrous underbid; I assume you meant 2C. That's
not terrible -- can't be if Will likes it -- but I want to show the
spades. I'm not quite strong enough to force to game, and knowing about
the spades will help partner judge whether to go on after I invite in
hearts. So call it 1S=10, 2S=8, 2C=6, and 2H=0.

If you were playing Overcall Structure or other methods where 1H could
be extremely weak, you should have told us that, and my answers would be
different.
