A while ago there the A&A board could be found on the Net.
Now I can't. What happened to this site?
Is there another place where I can get the A&A board?

Theun,

I don't know if this is what your looking for, but you can find the
McD board (a DOS utility that will keep track of the A&A gameboard for
you) at the Axis and Allies Club Website at:

http://members.aol.com/chrmcd/aaclub/aahome.htm

You can find it on the download page of the web site along with a
link to Phillip Hall's Odds Caluclator (Windows).

Theun,

In article <4liv63$n...@hermes.fwi.uva.nl>,

What site are you referring to? I had a very large but cruddy scanned
image of the map from the A&A rule book on my home page (which has moved
BTW). But I think the original poster was referring to a board utility
which would allow him to play A&A by e-mail (PBEM) using a computer to
keep track of the board electronically. Chris McDermott (on AOL) wrote
one of these (aamap.zip) which can be found at my WWW site or at Chris's:

Chris's URL: ftp://users.aol.com/chrmcd/aaclub
My new URL is: http://www.cs.umn.edu/~jch

For you A&A playing PC users, don't forget to pick up a copy of
the most valuable A&A game aid available, 'AA_Combat_Analysis.20'
while you're visiting my WWW site. ;)
