Match Play Game and Computer Center is opening today (Tuesday, October 8) in
Mountain View, California, about halfway between San Francisco and San Jose
along Highway 101. Match Play is a 6,000 square foot gaming center devoted
to card games, board games, miniatures games, and computer games.

There is a large Scrabble group that will be meeting at our store, and
many of the owners/employees are avid fans of Die Siedler, Modern Art,
Manhattan, Car Wars, Axis & Allies, and a six-board variant of Acquire
that you have to try out to understand (as well as an in-the-works hex
variant). We will also carry many card games and Games Workshop miniatures.

The computer center will not be open until October 16.

Our hours are 11 AM - 11 PM (or later) Tuesday-Friday, 9 AM - 11 PM on
Saturday, and 9 AM until 8 PM on Sunday.

For a calendar, membership information, and other stuff, visit our web page
at http://www.matchplay.com .

Match Play is in San Antonio Center, which is at the corner of San Antonio
Road and El Camino Real. From 101 or Central Expressway, exit at San Antonio
Road and turn west. Drive until just before El Camino Real and turn left
at the Sears parking lot. Drive around the Sears and park by the Super Crown.
We are located next to the Sears entrance on that side, in between Super Crown
and the San Antonio Hobby Shop.
