I am currently compiling a list of gaming pages to be included as
links on a general gaming site. If you maintain a games site and would
welcome a link please email your details in the following format:

NB: If this seems confusing at first -- check out the examples below!

Subject header must be SITES, then in the body text type:

NAME: [ enter name of site - max. 30 characters ]
URL: [ enter full URL ]
GAMETYPE: [ enter only ONE of the following types ]
SITETYPE: [ enter only ONE of the Site Types ]
GAMENAME: [ only enter if SITETYPE is GAME ]

GAMETYPE is either IBM-PC, MAC, NINTENDO, SEGA,
SONY, CONSOLE, ONLINE, MUD, RPG, PBM, PBEM,
WEBGAME, BOARD, MINIATURES, NOVELTY, OTHER
or MULTITYPE. Please use the most appropriate type.

SITETYPE is either GENERAL, COMPANY or GAME.

GAMENAME should be used only if SITETYPE is 'GAME'
and should be an actual FULL game name, e.g. QUAKE. Do not
use numerals (e.g. QUAKE II) except in SITENAME.

Please do not put *any* other text in the message body.

A typical COMPANY submission might look like this:

NAME: SUPERIOR GAME DEVELOPMENTS
URL: http://www.superiorgames.com
GAMETYPE: IBM-PC
SITETYPE: COMPANY

While a GENERAL gaming 'services' site might be:

NAME: THE ULTIMATE GAMES SITE
URL: http://www.ultimategames.com
GAMETYPE: IBM-PC
SITETYPE: GENERAL

And a typical GAME 'fan' site might be something like this:

NAME: JOE'S QUAKE PAGE
URL: http://www.joespage.com
GAMETYPE: IBM-PC
SITETYPE: GAME
GAMENAME: QUAKE

Note: ONLY *ONE* ENTRY/URL may be accepted per site.

Submissions not strictly adheering to the required formats would be
automatically discarded so please take care.

Finally, please email your submission to:

ar...@solid-gold.co.uk

Please do not attempt to use the 'reply-to' address.

TIA.

Arnie.
