Dear Nick:
This time of this posting is much too past my bedtime. I just finished
playing in a Formula De League game then I played an AD&D game so I am a
bit tired (first time I have played AD&D in over 12 years! I was a
complete novice again but the group was very helpful). However seeing
your post is incentive to stay up a few more minutes. :-)
You definitely should become a member of the Car Wars Mailing List and
read High Velocity Dueling Magazine (HVD), the Car Wars Magazine of the
WWW. I am including in this message a database of every WWW site that
contains information on Car Wars material. I am still fine-tuning the
file and I am still a novice to HTML so I apologize I am sending only a
text file. I believe these URLs will help your search. I would
especially look at the site for the New Omaha Vehicular Association
(NOVA). This location has a HUGE vehicle database.
My Web site devoted to Car Wars is progressing slowly because I am still
learning HTML. Until I have the site up I will continue to write
articles for HVD and the CWML. I would be happy to send Car Wars
articles, play aids, and other goodies to you.

Please realize that I am still organizing the list and that I have
included several URLs that are no longer functional for reference. If
any of the URLs that are NOT labeled as inoperative are incorrect,
please elmay me.
I also ask you to send questions, comments, and suggestions for Car Wars
to me and the HVD Staff. We would love to hear your messages. Better
yet, send some articles to HVD and the CWML! These publications are
entirely dependent on VOLUNTEERS! These resources need YOU! :-)

P.S. TED RILEY created a HUGE database of the coolest vehicles for Car
Wars I have ever encountered, including a MULTI-BILLION-DOLLAR AFV! I
was fortunate to have printed a paper copy of the list before the site
disappeared from the WWW. I plan to check these vehicles for errata and
place them on the SWAT Web Site. When I have completed a large amount of
work for this project I would be happy to send you a draft. This
database has vehicles for EVERY environment: sea, land, air, civilian,
and military. :-)
