As an example, here's a nice combination I learned from a friend:
Hive and Lord of the Pit.
You always have a sacrificial victim.
Another idea, this one my own:
Control Magic the other guy's big beastie, and tap Diamond Valley.
Or, play lifetap and paralyze his force of nature (black/blue vs. green).
You can then ignore it.
I offer a challenge to other players on the net. What is your slyest,
funnest effect? Single card, combinations of cards, etc. It doesn't have
to be the deadliest... just something really entertaining.
(Fork his 8-pt. fireball, add in two Eye for an Eye spells, top it all off
with a guardian angel, and run a few points through your Iron Star and
Ivory Cup, just for good measure. If you have Word of Command, start the
sequence yourself.)

Cast metamorphosis on a Ruke-Egg to summon another Ruke Egg AND an Ape.
Since the egg is now on its way to the graveyard it hatches into a 4/4 flyer. :)
(note that 3 red creatures are put into play by burning one _green_ manna!)
Overall this provides a great opening to the eternal chicken/egg debate....

That's cute... Almost as funny as slapping Living Artifact on someone's Copper
Tablet. :)

A little hard to use... Since you still need 2 White Mana to keep conversion
going, since the Celestial Prism is a Mono-Artifact.

Based on what someone else just posted about control magic
and diamond valley, this can be improved even more if you can do it to
your oponnents personal incarnation. Steal his 6/6 monster, sac it to
get 6 life points and cause _him_ to lose half his life points, now
that would be beautiful.

Yeah, that would be fun, but how many people will have their personal
incarnation out? There are only a few of us who have a complete set or ever
seen a personal incarnation. :)
Its all perspective. My friend just bought 4+4 (starters+boosters) and received
3 (yes three) personal's. Now I admit my friend is one lucky SOB but I believe
that I can trade him......
Especially since he already had one from the limited printing :(
He's gonna put them all in one deck just to see what happens...
What do you want for him? Does his luck come too?? More importantly,
what about his MtG cards?

Hmm. The problem with this is that you yourself ALSO have to be playing
red/white just to use the cards involved, or at the very least you have
to play white and have Sunglasses in play. I do, however, very much
like holding off red and black opponents in our oft-played five-player,
one-color-per-player games with my white deck and Conversion/Karma...

I'll tell ya what happens. If he ever plays me, I'll wait for him
to get two into play, then I'll play Wrath of God. Unless he has
a CoP: White in play, he's dead, no matter how many hit points he
has. :)
Still, let him know I'm willing to trade for one of 'em.
Incarnations whale. :)

No, you wouldn't need to be playing Red or White. Chris says you can
use the Celestial Prism to generate the colored Mana you need.
There's also the City of Brass or the Black Lotus (conversion costs 2W
to bring in).

Uhh, err. Right. For some reason, I didn't read that at the top.
Well, you'll need two Prisms for Conversion, since it requires two
white mana. In any case, you'd have to have these two cards in
your deck, and then in your hand, since I doubt you'll want to tie
up two Prisms just to keep the Conversion going until you draw
Flashfires. Sorry to criticize, but I just can't see putting these
two cards in just to screw up a red/white deck. There are much
more efficient ways, in my opinion.
One good use I found for Celestial Prism in my all-red deck, was
as a parity changer. Then, if I have Mana Flare in play, and I
need to cast a spell with an odd casting cost (and my Shivan
Dragon or Wall of Fire or such isn't out), I can simply pump
the last two red mana into my Prism and get one!

Or, for a blue-red deck, cast unstable mutations on your
Rukh Eggs and attack with them! Do you want to shoot the
Egg now, or wait 'til the Rukh gets home?
Or, for red-black, use sacrifice on the Eggs.
In any deck, just use a Diamond Valley to kill the Eggs!
You get 3 life, and another Rukh comes out! Kinda like a
healing salve that summons a 4/4 flier!!
Dave :)
In both of these cases, I think there would be a problem, because the card
to be used on the Rukh egg has a sacrifice effect, which means remove from
play, not put into the graveyard. Since the Rukh only comes out when the
'Egg is put into the graveyard, I don't think it would work.
Right??

Nope. From page 22, "Occasionally, a card will ask for the sacrifice
of a creature. If this happens, you may choose a creature of yours
to put out of play. This creature is placed into your graveyard..."
Since it is not removed from the game, it comes back as a Rukh.
Dave :)
What does a personal incarnation do? (In a week of playing I've never seen
one... :)

It is a 6/6 creature that allows you to redirect damage that MIGHT kill it to
yourself. If you LOSE your Personal Incarnation, you lose 1/2 your hitpoints.
Oh, and Personal Incarnation is a RARE card, so that might be the reason you
don't see him a lot. :)
The Personal Incarnation is a magical embodiment of the wizard wading
into battle. It is White's show-stopper critter just like Green has
Force of Nature and Black has Lord of the Pit. It's casting cost is
three white mana and three others. The Incarnation (also called the
Avatar since the card says Summon Avatar) is 6/6 and his text allows
you to take any or all damage done to the Avatar yourself by losing
life. This way you can keep him alive for a while if you're willing
to spend your own life points. The clincher with the Personal Incarnation
is that if the Avatar is ever destroyed, you lose half your life points!
