I haven't played with my new AN cards yet, and already it's starting to get
warped. What's going on? I originally had it on the floor (no, no one
stepped on it...), but I since moved it to a flat surface; if anything, they've
gotten worse. Could it be the humidity? or lack thereof? or temperature?
Or is there something different about MtG cards' composition?

Any comments appreciated.

(ps- I left off the MtG header since this may not be specific to MtG)

Yeah, I have noticed something strange about the cards as well. They are not
totally flat. When you hold them between your fingers they are a little warped
and when you push them back and forth you hear a small pop. I did not notice
this with the 1st edition cards.

Dunno about "Magic" cards, but ordinary playing cards warp
when left in the sun. Keep 'em dry and out of the sun and
they last for a long time.

The sun, or any intense light? If so, how intense (or how close to a 100 watt
bulb)?

Heat's what does it, typically. Most cards are plastic coated.
Keep them within a reasonable living temperature and there should
be no problem.
