Welcome to rec.games.board.ce, the Cosmic Encounter Newsgroup!
This newsgroup is for the discussion of the Cosmic Encounter board game.
It is the decendent of the CE Mailing List, which has been operating for
about two years. The mailing list and newsgroup will be linked together
just as soon as we can figure out how to do it. (For now, I think I can
set up a one way (from Newsgroup to Mailing List) link...the other
direction may be more difficult.)
The CE Archives resides here on pogo.gnu.ai.mit.edu and on hoqax.att.com.
The pogo archive is available via ftp. The hoqax archive is available
via email request. To receive instructions on accessing the archive, send
email to bic...@hoqax.att.com or bic...@gnu.ai.mit.edu and place the
following line in your message:
Request: CE MANIFEST
Make sure you follow spacing precisely and that the "R" in "Request" appears
in column one, not on the subject line.
We're currently trying to plan a weekend when we could all meet up in
Central NJ to play some CE. The current date in contention is June 29.
Please let me know if you are interested. More info to follow.

Boardgamegeek took over the cosmic discussions. This group was great
in its time as there was nowhere else to discuss the game, but
boardgamegeek is now better known reaching a lot more of an audience.
