Do any of you play at gammonempire.com. I am not a fan of being forced to
dowload site-specific software, so want to get a feel for what type of site
this is.

Loading a software means only faster and smoother user interface. On
an another hand, I would not recommend GE to anyone because of non-
resizeable board and rake close to highway robbery.

Any site where you play for money has to have proprietary client
software, otherwise it's too easy to cheat with a bot.
Of course, it's still fairly easy to cheat with a bot, just not as easy
as it would be if the site allowed anybody to write a client.
