I emailed question about JF4 to the JellyFish website.
There is the answer:'we don´t know if there will be ever a version 4.0, sorry'

I had a discussion a player who has close contact with the people at
Oasya (Snowie's creators). He said that Oasya IS working on a Snowie
Version 4, but much of their current programming effort is toward
building a neural net program for Poker. They (rightly) believe that
there is a vastly large potential audience for such a product.
However, their efforts with Snowie 4 are not stagnant, and one of the
projects is to work out a better net that will handle and evaluate
backgames more effectively.
