While I'm at it... Been noticing some trends lately that make me feel
concerned. Perhaps the amount of cash floating around isn't big enough
at the moment? Perhaps some laws are starting to bite (sending off your
personal information to Neteller, Paypal etc due to EU requirements
surely will scare some people off).

Without naming sites I've seen several noticeable events in the last
months.

One site is giving you a "huge" offer every time you deposit. If you
click ok, ups, thanks for your deposit. For a 50e deposit you might get
a 94e counteroffer. For a 20e deposit 234e is just one click away. But,
I'm sure this works very well during weekends when there are a lot of
drunks around. Extremely questionable IMHO.

The number of phone calls from one site has risen exponentially.
Anything to get a cash inflow. You can haggle for a better offer :).

One site has moved away from it's low cash freerolls and you now play
for bonus points that when accumulated can be traded for a freeroll
with enough cash. This is actually just a good thing. I never liked
seeing small amounts of cash just floating away from the site into the
pockets of those that need a buck or two. I doubt it generated a lot of
positive cash flow in the end. And that is easily verified by looking
at their player database.

Anyone else noticed this trend?

Now that's quite an offer. Tell us which site is that.

I have noticed what you have noticed, and I think its a good thing
that the sites are doing so much promoting...I think it's clearly
because of competition...they are fighting each other to get our
business. I love the idea of depositing money and getting some free
money for doing so.

No I haven't

I use Gammon Ventures with Gammon Site and no gimicks. just play for the
money. Occaisionally there is a promotion but thats once in a blue moon.
Your site you mention seems ok I just prefer not to be bugged to donatre
cash in the hopes of getting more money. When it comes down to it, will I
get my cash when I want it or will I get a hassel.

So far no complaints from me.

Sarcastic eh? The counteroffer which requires you to deposit 234e to
get a 15% bonus is quite disproportional. Well, at least they didn't
make it 200e which might be harder to spot (especially in a properly
missized window cutting off the last 0 :).
