Being honest ....or being a thief

Every man or woman have to find a place in society. - This goes for
backgammonplayers as well. - Some are very good players, some are at
the beginning level - that is not important. In the longer run there
is a much more important factor:

Sportsmanship, honesty and kindness.

Two sides of misbehaveour comes to my mind. First category, which is
the lowes, is the thiefs. Guy's (like Yusuf10) who manage to crack a
code (f.ex. to Jellyfish) and offer this code to the public. - Is this
kindness? No! It's illegal and dishonest behaveour with no respect of
the auther's rights. - Are You making friends this way? - Sure! Other
thiefs might use You a few might even pay You with other stolen goods.
- What a score!

To make thing's more clear, try to imagine this situation:

You have found out a way to steal from your local drugstoreowner - and
his chances for stopping You is very small. - Great! - You think! -
But this is not enough for You. Now You start to play Father X-mas
with Your stolen goods and give it to others who, by that, will be
classified like Yourself: Thiefs! And as if this isn't enought, you
start a laugh, just in front of the victim: Your own drugstoreowner.

My advice to You: Take a l-o-n-g look in the mirror while You say the
words: I'm a thief, I'm a thief, I'm a thief. - Does that feel good?

No! - I thought not. Wake up You cracker's - In the long run Your'e
falling longer and deeper in society - that goes amoung BG-players as
well as in "real life". Turn your talent in to better behaveour and
offer Your gained time to become a more skilled player. - It's legal
..and it's much more fun.

I wish You GOOD LUCK in turning Your behaveour into - at least - the
legal direction, and welcome You back in this newsgroup, when You
succeed. - Even a thief deserves a 2nd. chance.

The second categori is droppers or just players with bad behaveour: To
those guys: Would You consider the same behaveour if it was a "real
life" person to person game? - How would You feel if Your opponent
behave the same way? - Think a little of it. I'm quiet sure of Your
conclusion.

I almost forgot the 3rd. and largest category: The people who
understand and apreciate a good and friendly climate. I have been
helped a lot by people in this group during my entre on FIBS, I have
learned a lot just by reading. And I must say most of You belong to
this category. Thank's to You this place and FIBS i still a 99% nice
place to be.
