Well, I am curious if anyone knows if there is an official association
of abstract strategy players, or one for chess variants, to regulate
the determining of who would be champion of abstract strategy games in
general, or more specifically chess variants.
Anyone know of this for sure? If there isn't one, is anyone here
interested in starting one?
Thank you for your time...

Again, is anyone interested in getting one started?

I would like to nominate a name for it, once it starts up.
IAGO !
International Abstract Games Organisation.
And the players need to have the devious twisted minds
of Shakespeare's great character from Othello!

Girls are better than boys at video games, because girls have larger
'buttons'.
Boys are only good at vintage games, because these are controlled by
joysticks

Bingo. If it isn't taken, I am definitely in favor of that as a name.
I will put it up on the Super Duper Games site. The idea is to have
it for abstract strategy games, but I definitely like it.
Please get involved here if you want to discuss this more:

The forum is now here:

And it looks like IAGO is going to be the name, short of a sudden
surprise.
