As I'm sure many of you are well aware of the fact that the PNGC stands for the
"Picasso news group challenge". It originated as the NGC and evolved into the
PNGC after a reg poster by the same same passed away very suddenly. Picasso
was a very positive influence here in the NG and he really kicked some ass in
the early NGC's before passing on.

Reason for this memoir?

Evidence of his capping proficency still stands over at BigGuy. And I just
happened to see it again today by chance. Click on "leaderboards" immediately
after entering the "simulation" section and you will find him still ranked at
#7 overall with a (152 - 96) record and a 14.25% winning rate. Simply
amazing...

hey dude, we miss ya.

Thank you SPRKnFADE for reminding the group the reason the NG challenge
was named PicassoNewsGroupChallenge (PNGC).
I was just thinking of this yesterday. And wondered how many new people on
the newsgroup and even new players to the PNGC did not really know the
facts.
His posts and cappin abilities are sorely missed in this forum.

When I first lurked at this newsgroup, Picasso made me quite a lot of
money. Though he never failed to defend himself when flamed, I don't
recall him ever initiating a flame.

Most days, I try to change the header of my posts in the challenge from
"PNGC" to "PicassoNGC" (today being an exception). I think that it would
help to serve as a reminder to all of us if we take the time & trouble
to spell it out when we post in the challenge. This way, Picasso can
still be a part of the challenge even though we no longer can be
beneficiaries of his handicapping skills.

Let's not forget that that our life on this earth is just a temp job.

Too true man, let's not forget. Sure, I may be bookie's favourite punter at
the moment and yes some cocaine slut has fucked me over but in the grand scheme
of things, life is still good actually.

I still have my family, I am in good health, not everyone in this world is that
lucky. That's whats important after all.

Lets face it, I'm shrewd enough to be hurting my bookies again soon. There'll
be other fish in the sea on the pussy front. And I've found some great cappin
buddies at RGS.

Life is short - live it long......
