Yesterday Clave posted that he is not a democrat.

I don't think anyone ever thought he was. I know I didn't.

I thought he was. What did you think?

Most politicians disappoint me. Democratic ones pretty much a lot less
so, especially now when the GOP has sold its collective soul.

You don't have to be a member of the Democratic Party to know that
Republicans are either fucking straight-up evil, or they don't fucking
care that their representatives are.

The republican party is at an all-time low but the Democrats continue to amaze me how stupid they can be too.

The democrats are NOT stupid. You obviously do not understand the agenda. If they win, and transform this country, you will understand that they were not stupid. And you will hang your head and cry and wonder what happened to the land you loved. Just like people do now in Cuba and Venezuela.

“This one disappoints me so I hate them all?”
“These are bad but those are worse so none are good?”

Good is the enemy of the perfect? “I can’t find one that votes exactly the way I want, all the time, so they’re all bad?’

popinjay:

> “You obviously do not understand the agenda.”

Popinjay has it right. The first thing a politician must do is pay off the bribes. You donate to a politician to vote this way or that on this or that. Must he add up the donations in each column to decided who he ‘represents?’ Then he has to start gathering donations for the next election because fools like you vote by what you see on TV.

Citizens United made a business out of who and how to bribe politicians. And you voted for Citizens United. Remember when John McCain tried Political Reform? What a laugh.

Virtually every politician has a guaranteed job in Washington. Big businesses and corporations save bribery money by offering the politician (both parties, you fool) “positions” after their term of office. “On the Board of Directors for ‘n’ Bank.” Member of the “n” think tank. “Lobbyists for “n” Company.” You ever seen any of them politicians come home? Check on the ones that got voted out last time.

Who has the most lobbyist? Big Pharma. (More than all the others combined). Didn’t the head guy for FDA just quit government and take an executive position with one of the Big Pharmas? Gee, I wonder what he approved?

Remember Bush2 taking $30 million from Big Pharma to prevent Medicaid from negotiating prices or purchasing over seas?

Any elected official in congress that’s not a millionaire by second term is an honest fool.

Every heard the term, "Military Industrial Complex?"

If you’re looking for the perfect party to represent you, you’re really stupid, because you’re the problem.

If Democrats don't win the land you love will be gone forever. You'll be
just another authoritarian shithole. Fortunately for you, it appears the
pillars of the military and the courts are holding strong and are not
going to allow it to happen.

You really like arguing with things no one has said.

What you seem to miss is that the land we love is not a socialist hellhole.
Or were you talking to someone in Cuba?

Yes, if the left gains power.

Why would they not be holding strong? The left hasn’t taken over yet.

I heard about this place called Canada, one of dozens of countries where
the government actually works to make the lives of citizens better, not
to maximize the wealth of the uber-rich.

Based on what? "The left" aka The Democratic Party, has had the the US
presidency many times and until Donald Trump came along the country
hasn't come close to becoming an authoritarian shithole. The subject
never even comes up. It was always assumed that the American system of
government was stronger and more resilient than any one man due to its
built-in checks and balances and independent Department of Justice. Who
knew that was all based on the honor system?

Why indeed.. because Donald Trump has been trying to make them loyal and
obedient to him, to satisfy his authoritarian ambitions. You haven't
noticed?

Jesus, what a child.

Bill, please stop egging him on, it's making me physically sick. I don't mind Clave and BillB so much, even Bradley I can just ignore, but this guy, I can't stand to even look at his name now. It upsets me.

Unemployment cut in half. Uninsured rate cut in half. Dow jones nearly tripled. Profits up. Historically low inflation. Borrowing cheap. Dollar up. Oil prices down. Deficit cut by two-thirds. Average 160,000 jobs a month for 68 month. Automakers booming, clean energy doubled.

And Traitor Trump's GOP?

Run and hide, fool.

But seriously, you are looking at this the wrong way. Do you remember “The
Man who Mistook his Wife for a Hat”? The book about broken brains? That’s
how I look at Dutch, and most of the noisy left. They believe, and then
defend the most absurd beliefs - like everything you read in sociology texts,
for instance. It’s fun in a macabre way to look at these train wrecks of
brains. Also, it turns out that even though Dutch doesn’t know what the WSJ
is, they know him very well. Well enough to write a whole column about him.
I’ll post if later.

Dutch is the perfect little fascist/communist/socialist/authoritarian
birdbrain.

For years I thought he was a kid. But I think it turns out he is about our age. Go figure.
