I am going to make this an open-ended question so nobody can accuse me
of trying to "trick" him. Feel free to answer however you like, in your
own words.

In a 2012 survey of Republican voters in Alabama by Public Policy
Polling, only 10% (TEN percent) of respondents thought Barack Obama was
a Christian. 49% (FORTY-NINE percent) said they thought he was Muslim.

Why would FIVE TIMES as many Alabaman Republicans think Obama is Muslim,
rather than Christian, and would you expect roughly the same results in,
say, Vermont?

*Once again, I predict RGP's right-wingers will either ignore the
question, or bend over backwards to defend or apologize for the racists.
I'm not saying that will *definitely* happen; it's just another golden
BillB PREDICTION.

I think it's a stretch to characterize as racism the belief that Obama is a Muslim. He definitely has a Muslim background, and some Muslims, including members of his own family, think he is a Muslim. It would be interesting to see what percentage of Muslims think he is Muslim.

Here are a couple of articles on the subject by Daniel Pipes, who thinks Obama is a Christian --

Are there any Republicans in Vermont?

Why on God's green earth would you think a belief about someone's
religion has anything at all to do with race? Is your mind so warped
that you see only racist motives to everything?

Thank you for your input, but nothing there really explains why five
times as many Republicans in Alabama believe (or say they believe) that
Obama is Muslim, rather than the Christian faith he professes to follow.

How many beer drinking, church going, pig-skin wearing, pork eating,
Muslim killing, Muhammad denying Muslims can there be in America? Obama
must be the only one.

You're implying that 49% of the respondents are racists and are
disparaging Obama by regarding him as a Muslim. All this is revealing is
your own ethnic hatred of Muslims.

If anyone, anywhere incorrectly thinks he's a Muslim it's because
organized groups which hate Muslims just as much as they do Blacks or
progressive political values have industriously spread that falsehood.
It's interesting to see that you have the same viewpoint as them on two
out of three.

Polls, surveys and tests have shown that the average Alabamian places close to, or actually, last on virtually any intelligence test. The state as a whole places close to, or actually, last on virtually any social, economical or educational measurement. Even the Governor is an idiot (voted in by idiots). In the news this morning, it was shown their Governor actually signed a law in which a convicted felon gets to keep his Second Amendment right of having a weapon. The governor admits that he had the NRA draft the legislation and he wasn't aware of what was in it.

The whole state is full of ignorant creeps and it's simply not safe to drive at night in the southern part of the state. Any time I've had to cross the state, I've made sure it was during the day and I stayed on the main highway.

So it's not surprising these ignorant Republican hicks have no clue as to the religion of their president; much less actually know his name.

What I've seen is 0 for 2. But when you judge your own score yourself
it's easy to "win" (per my illustration above).

Your thinking that someone believing Obama is a Muslin is racist is just

According to factual information Montgomery, Alabama (located in southern
Alabama) has far less violent crime than your shithole hometown, Berkeley,
California:

The city violent crime rate for Montgomery in 2010 was lower than the
national violent crime rate average by 3.2% and the city property crime
rate in Montgomery was higher than the national property crime rate
average by 87.65%.
http://www.cityrating.com/crime-statistics/alabama/montgomery.html

The city violent crime rate for Berkeley in 2010 was higher than the
national violent crime rate average by 28.57% and the city property crime
rate in Berkeley was higher than the national property crime rate average
by 96.7%.

The crime rate in Alabama is lower outside the urban areas. Wow. You're
just nuts.

Hard to say, but I suspect an equal number of people get it wrong.

Obama is a committed, true-believing Communist, and therefore, is neither

You must be operating under some highly unusual (i.e. incorrect)
definition of the word "communist."

I agree with you about him not being Christian, though. Unfortunately,
in the US participating in that charade is basically a prerequisite for
high office. As far as I'm concerned, if you don't believe in your heart
of hearts that Jesus rose from the dead, you're not *really* a
Christian. I can't imagine Obama really believing that.

I know this might come as a shock to you, but people can have opinions
all their very own, and not have to rely on a cite to someone else's
opinions.

No shit, Sherlock Somehow, it escaped you that, "Obama is a
committed, true-believing Communist, and therefore, is neither
Christian or Muslim" is not a statement of opinion.

It's stated as if it were a fact. Obviously, you want to pretend
otherwise.

Don't blame me for saying Communists can't be Christian or Muslim, blame the
Communists.

So then, you want to argue that an opinion stated as if it were a
fact, somehow becomes something other than an opinion?

I'll gladly let you get the last word in.
