To settle this I think Alim and Jerry should have a shootout with each
other with Rick and Fell having one or the other to represent them. Rick
should get to pick his shooter first because, oh man, he's got this, that,
and another problem the least of which are his bets.
The winner is the one whose showdown representative is the first to place
a bullet within three feet of the other. They each get to reload once only.

Rick has no problems. He can get a stake to play poker. He can get a
stake to bet football. He can get a stake to buy a tv. He can even get a
stake to get his wife out of jail. You know who has a problem?

Which is it, doggy? When this whole thing started almost 6 weeks ago, you
kept saying "HOLY SHIT U MUST BE BROKE IF $84 MEANS SO MUCH TO
YOU!!!!1!!1!!ONE!!!!1!"
Make up your mind. Am I broke? Am I sadistic? Or is it just possible
that my motives are exactly as I have stated here?

And it's very thoughtful of Rick to continue to give him that opportunity.

ABSOLUTELY NOT .. Your GF Morphy has already admitted to complicity in
using the RC thread to engineer his exit
Morph and you have only one purpose in life and that is to find someone to
put down
Recession .. when IMike's neighbor loses his trailer
Depression .. when IMike loses his trailer
Recovery .. when IMike accepts public assistance funded by Obama

If you are referring to the motive of warning others that Rick is a deadbeat
so that bets with him can be avoided, at what point do you think that goal
can be accomplished?
Seriously, dude, this entire episode over eighty bucks is just beyond
bizarre. Someone reading these threads for the first time who did not know
the actual terms of your bet with Rick would come away with the idea that he
cheated you out of a large amount of money.
I don't think that's true.
Personally, I've just been loosely following these threads without a
comment until lately, but I've always known that the amount was on or
about $80.
For sure, I am much more perceptive than the average RGP reader, but
I'm not THAT much better than anyone else.

I was wondering earlier- why did you rationalize Rick's behavior of not
paying off a lost bet by relating stories about money that had been loaned
to you and, as you stated, loans you had made to others. A bet isn't a
loan.

No, I'm referring to my stated motive of ensuring that people realize that
actions or inactions have consequences. The money is, in itself,
inconsequential.

Perhaps so. My partipation to these threads has been limited to the
initial posts, then rebuttal posts when Rick has repeatedly posted claims
that are patently false and easily refutable by showing proof from email
exchanges. If the whole thing has developed a life of its own, so be it.
It is not I who has created the majority of the threads.

But you've only succeeded in proving the opposite. Rick has failed to pay
you back. What exactly are the consequences of that? Rick surely isn't any
worse off.
Unless he tries to get a "loan" or make a "bet".

I'd bet that if you google "the voice of poker" or anything related to
that most of the top links will be about his being a deadbeat and not
paying back. So, the consequence is that forever now "davoice of poker"
will simply be a deadbeat.

There we go.
What's fun about it all is watching Rick fumble around to come up with a
new bull shit story to explain why he can't raise $11.
If I was that broke (and as Rick pointed out, I have been) the only thing
to be said would be, "Guess I can't pay you". And I wouldn't need to
say it twice.

Ask THIS fucking guy if HE thinks 88.00 is 'a large amount of money'

You must not think me necessarily foolish because I am facetious,
nor will I consider you necessarily wise because you are grave.

47.6% of all statistics are made up on the spot.
JBK
I'd make a bet with Rick right now if he wanted.

That guy didn't loan Rick the money.
Oh? Rick has practically been reduced to pleading that people stop
tarnishing his good name. I'd ay the consequences are quite probably much
more severe than the $84 (though I, of course, put a much higher value on
my word than does Rick on his).

Well, Mr Rick "not his real name" Charles has certianly helped them
acheive that life goal.

What is your fucking point Carson? Anyone who wants to know my "real name"
(Rick Charles has the same S.S. # as I do, and so does Charlie Darren) can
google it. I'm known in the Poker World and the Radio World as Rick
Charles. What is your point.
My given birth name (one more time) is Charles Breuninger. SO FUCKING WHAT?
Rick
Charles Breuninger? I've heard of that guy. Hey I just got a splendid
idea. Why don't we ask him to pay Fell his $84?
