~ By the way, I should add there is a pretty big error in that fact check. The article says the cause of death was cardiopulmonary arrest complicated by restraint and neck compression. What the autopsy actually said was cardiopulmonary arrest COMPLICATING restraint and neck compression.

You're so full of shit you even dispute the 'proof' you used for reference. LOL. What a lying moron.
The actual autopsy:
'Cause of death: Cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression
Other significant conditions: Arteriosclerotic and hypertensive heart disease; fentanyl intoxication; recent methamphetamine use'

In the first place 'neck compression' WAS THE VERY LAST THING mentioned (*more on that later).
Your crazy quilt claim that Floyd's 'cardiopulmonary arrest' was a complication OF 'law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression' is asinine.
'complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression' is simply an explanation of what was occurring at the time of Floyd's 'cardiopulmonary arrest'. He had a heart attack while resisting arrest. HE chose to resist arrest.
The underlying factors of Floyd's 'cardiopulmonary arrest' were 'arteriosclerotic and hypertensive heart disease; fentanyl intoxication; recent methamphetamine use'. Floyd had a massively collapsed cardiopulmonary system and he was a long-term illegal drug abuser. Those aren't underlying factors with which an intelligent person would resist arrest and engage in an intense physical struggle but no one ever said George Floyd was intelligent.
Floyd most likely would not have had 'cardiopulmonary arrest' if he hadn't engaged in an intense physical struggle with police officers while resisting arrest. But the fact remains that is what HE chose to do.
What this case has said, loud and clear, to police officers is that if you enforce the law, which you are charged with doing, and some asshole stupidly chooses to initiate a physical struggle with you then YOU will be held responsible for not only their cardiovascular system but also their stupid choices and their violent nature. That's a socially insane message to send.
* WHY was the former Medical Examiner of Washington D.C. telling the Hennepin County Medical Examiner what he HAD to put in the autopsy report?
Roger Mitchell, the former Medical Examiner of Washington D.C. personally called Hennepin County Medical Examiner to threaten his career.
