OT: The Sarah Palin Look

know it's intentional. She's got her hair done up in the same style,
she's got the same glasses, and she even has the same smile. In other
words, she's a nice looking girl, about 23 or 24, but I know she is
intentionally cultivating, The Sarah Palin Look.
So anyway, as I'm leaving the casino, I can't help thinking about how
much the girl at the counter looked like Sarah Palin. And then I
think to myself, Gee, I wonder if Travel wears his hair like that.

I'm reading her "Going Rogue" bio right now, Dad had it and thought I
might like it so no, I didn't buy it. Only about 75-80 pages in so
haven't gleaned too much info but so far it's a pretty easy read with
quite a few "facts" that seem easy enough to verify if the need
strikes. It's a bio so I'm not sure what I expect, certainly nothing
really bad will be told on herself!! I'm not a Palin fan, but I am
reasonably conservative, and I still don't understand why she scares
liberals so much? If she's so bad isn't that the kind of opponent you
want? For you Palin bashers, what exactly makes her the devil and
Obama God? Wouldn't a Palin versus Obama in 2012 be ideal?

She's a monumental idiot and ignoramus of the highest order, and for some
reason this lack of substance appeals to a large segment of the country.
That's what scares me – that this country might be dumb enough to actually
elect her.
(And by the way, my question was directed at Travel, not at Palin).

What's funny is, if she were ugly, none of the Republicans would give her a
second thought. Republicans believe looks equals good, moral and
