Apparently, the slaves had learnt the skill of telling people what they wanted to hear; for instance, Susan Hamlin's interview on her experiences as a slave. On one side, she told Butler, a white interviewer, that slavery was a very pleasant human encounter, and her master was one of the greatest persons that she ever met. She confessed that slaves were treated fairly well without any form of mistreatment. On the other side, when interviewed by Ladson, a black interviewer, she detailed the brutalities of slavery and branded it an inhuman act."

And, of course, unquestionably, black interviewers are the ones seeking the truth and George Johnson lived in deathly fear of white interviewers 76 years after the end of slavery. Check the time elapsed math on that. I might have been off by several months and you can try to change the subject to that.
BTW, how did you leap to the conclusion that George Johnson's interviewer is white? The interviewer's name is Dr. Charles S. Johnson. For all you know he could be George Johnson's son.
And this is where you got that:
https://ivypanda.com/essays/the-view-from-the-bottom-by-james-davidson-and-hamilton-lytle/
And they included an ad for their services:
'We will write a custom Essay on “The View from the Bottom” by James Davidson and Hamilton Lytle specifically for you
for only $16.05 $11/page'
Say, 'splashie'- you seem to be a clever fellow sometimes. Why not just make up your own bullshit?
But in other respects, you're rather dense. The link I provided above to George Johnson's testimony lists on the sidebar plenty of other slave narratives many of which actually are horrific- sales of the children of slaves, for one example. And those, of course, must have all been interviewed by black interviewers rather than evil white interviewers.
You're a sad case. Grow up.
