In todays North County Times(San Diego County) there is an article about
Bradley L. Ruderman being arrested for bilking investors. Among other things
he admitted to losing 5.2 million of investor money in poker games held in a
Beverly Hills luxury hotel suite.

I wonder if any of Russ old partners were involved? Could this type of game
have been on the square?

VERY DOUBTFUL!!!!!

Maximum 20 years in prison. Accused of stealing 44 million. That works
out to 2.2 million per year. If I was young...

I knew a guy who spent a couple of years at a fed pen in I think it
was in Arizona. Anyway, he was there with a bunch of Watergate scandal
people. The place wasn't so bad. They lived in dormitories where each
had their own bed room, six rooms shared a kitchen where they could
cook their own food. None of the violence as depicted in Oz. He said
it wasn't bad at all and he was mentored by some pretty smart people.

At Eglin Air Force base - they get week end passed but are required to
stay in the Fort Walton Beach immediate area. I hate to say this but I
have 4 people I know very well that have spent a few years there plus
one at Maxwell

I know what you're saying here, but I misunderstood to think you were
connecting him in some way with the topic of Chuck's post. In other words,
why the fuck did you mention his name out of the clear blue sky? Stay
focused, Leg Humper.

I reported on this game several years ago, stating it was crooked as
hell. The Eastern European couple who dealt in Ventura and had
immigrated to the US in the past decade had an affiliation with the
game, as I also posted. I keep telling people about games that are
crooked, yet everyone knows more than I do:). I can tell the DONKEYS
where the water is. I can't make them drink:).

Chip Johnson was around Gardena in the mid-late 70s. Fancied himself a
great player, ala Mike Caro. Knew squat about Didley. As Caro was
cheated, so was Chip Johnson. He had a good friend that had entered
our cheating pack. His friend got the 'greenlight' from the rest of us
to see if Chip wanted into the mix, as he a decent enough player. Chip
declinded at the time, dropping off the radar into small limit games
for quite a while.

It's been around 15 years since I've even seen Chip Johnson and that
was because we ran into each other in an LA casino. While he had an
ego with 'boys' like you Doogy, with the men he was much more humble.

Russ, good to see you're still alive and well. Many people on the newsgroup were
speculating that you were not. I'm glad they were wrong.

Russ, if you read this entire short thread, you'll see that Doggystyle brought up Chip
Johnson's name. I'm still wondering why, as it appears he brought it up out of the clear
blue sky and he showed no connection between Chip Johnson and the subject matter that
Chuck posted about. Kinda strange. Plus, I have asked Doggystyle to elaborate, but it
appears he has moved on and is ignoring this thread. Do you have any opinion on that?

By the way, I played mostly against Chip when they were regularly spreading 25-50
Jacks-or-better at Commerce, with gray chips if I remember correctly. I would say this
had to be about 1984 through 1986. It may have even been before the Bike opened, which I
think was '84. I'm fuzzy on those exact details right now.

It was just Doogy doing what he does best, talking about subjects he
has no clue about. When called on to elaborate, Doogy runs away from
the bigger dogs. Hard to imagine Chip Johnson involved in that game,
as he wouldn't work with a team a couple of decades ealier when
invited in. That game has/had been going on for quite a while.
Obviously, alias's were used to front the game and players. We managed
to get a Texas cheat into the game years ago, but he wasn't familiar
with California players or cheats. Plus, he wasn't invited back even
though he didn't win. Didn't lose, but wasn't the live one that was
expected. I could have gotten into the game, but may not have been
able to get out:), as there was a great chance I knew the people
running the show.

As for Chip, he used to play a lot of lowball in the 70s. He was given
the knowledge to keep out of the bad games when invited in. Though
names were not mentioned, it wouldn't have taken a genius to know who
was doing what. He was told that most of the high draw games had
nothing going on in them and were safe to play in.

When you have your games at the Pickford Estates, you can afford
almost anything. Larry Flynt had armed guards at his mansion also.
They carried Uzi's.

He haunted the Bicycle a lot more recently than that, but I don't know if
he still does, I haven't been a regular there in 5 or 6 years.

Actually it could be more than 6 years since I saw Chip Johnson, I'm not

In 80 or 81 Larry Flints body guards told the security in the Sahara in
Reno that if any of their armed guards came neat Flint that they would
shoot them . They had to unarm themselves before escorting fills or doing
any business near the poker room while Flints crew was there

Yosh Nakano made his first 'fortune" in Buss's game in the mid to late
80's.. He went from red chips to white chips (100's) in about 3 months

Come to think of it, your reply sparked my memory. I did see him in
Hollywood Park in the late 90s with his leg amputated. I didn't care
for him either.

No ..there is thingy where the woman is on her side and I straddle the leg
on the under side and hold her bent leg in front of me for leverage and
power. This method tends to lead to "bottoming out ". Also leaves "ball
tracks " on the top side of the under leg.

This is always regarded as a pleasant surprise to a woman who is
unfamiliar with it .

I have overheard several conversation in which women overwhelmingly say
that "doggystyle" is by far their favorite position .

I know it works for me !!
