I hate Sunday evening. I've always hated Sunday evening. There's
always an empty feeling in my stomach. A let down. A feeling of
despair.

I'm over 50 years old, and I'm sitting here thinking, "Damn, I hate
Sunday evening." And y'know what? It was the same way when I was
10. Damn, I don't want to go to school tomorrow. Saturday was cool.
You got to sleep in or watch cartoons and eat Coco Puffs on Saturday
morning. You get to go outside and play today, because it's
Saturday. And there's no school tomorrow, because tomorrow is
Sunday. I loved Saturdays, but I hated Sunday nights. And that was
40 years ago, and nothing's changed. It's still the same. I still
hate Sunday nights. For the same reasons. It still feels the same.
An empty feeling, a feeling of despair.

Is this all there is? Loving Saturdays, hating Sundays, and then you
die?

Third of all, under UIGEA, transferring funds to and from any internet
gambling venue is illegal if any US financial institution is involved
in the transfer.

As has been pointed out in another thread, Visa cards seem to work
with Carbon Poker.

One hopes not, but I have the same dreariness some weekends. What saves me a little over when I was a kid is that I can watch any TV show I like, since I record most of what I watch.

"Sunday afternoon. I hate Sundays. No shit. It's probably school damage.
Sunday meant Monday. Monday meant school, uniform, teachers, and my
classmates. It was like swallowing big hunks of dirt."

Trudging slowly over wet sand
Back to the bench where your clothes were stolen
This is the coastal town that they forgot to close down
Armageddon, come Armageddon, come, Armageddon, come

Everyday is silent and gray

People do tend to keep the expectations and life rhythms that they
established as kids. Even though I have had work schedules that put
the "weekend" elsewhere, I think I have had that feeling about Sundays
all this time myself. It doesn't make you a pathetic creep. It is just
_part_ of your being a pathetic creep.

"Well, I woke up Sunday morning
With no way to hold my head that didn't hurt.
And the beer I had for breakfast wasn't bad,
So I had one more for dessert.
Then I fumbled in my closet through my clothes
And found my cleanest dirty shirt.
Then I washed my face and combed my hair
And stumbled down the stairs to meet the day.

I'd smoked my mind the night before
With cigarettes and songs I'd been picking.
But I lit my first and watched a small kid
Playing with a can that he was kicking.
Then I walked across the street
And caught the Sunday smell of someone frying chicken.
And Lord, it took me back to something that I'd lost
Somewhere, somehow along the way.

On a Sunday morning sidewalk,
I'm wishing, Lord, that I was stoned.
'Cause there's something in a Sunday
That makes a body feel alone.
And there's nothing short a' dying
That's half as lonesome as the sound
Of the sleeping city sidewalk
And Sunday morning coming down.

In the park I saw a daddy
With a laughing little girl that he was swinging.
And I stopped beside a Sunday school
And listened to the songs they were singing.
Then I headed down the street,
And somewhere far away a lonely bell was ringing,
And it echoed through the canyon
Like the disappearing dreams of yesterday.

On a Sunday morning sidewalk,
I'm wishing, Lord, that I was stoned.
'Cause there's something in a Sunday
That makes a body feel alone.
And there's nothing short a' dying
That's half as lonesome as the sound
Of the sleeping city sidewalk
And Sunday morning coming down." Kris Kristofferson "Sunday Morning
Coming Down"

Cause I'm a liar
Yeah I'm a liar
I'll tear your mind out
I'll burn your soul
I'll turn you into me
I'll turn you into me
Cause I'm a liar, a liar
A liar, a liar

- Henry Rollins, "Liar"

I actually read the lyrics, and the lyrics in the bridge are bizarre. I
had no idea that is what she was saying...
