Russ, I can't. Not while i still am trying to make a paycheck with-In

I do believe there are people who Would be willing/able to
interview/speak publicly[there are Many who are pissed off/dropped
'out' of tourney/big cash poker], but i am not in that kind of
position. My role can have a more powerful effect from the Inside,
working constructively, honestly, face to face with the big-time
player/managers/owners , for sure. I've never been a poker outlaw &
don't wish to be perceived as one. Any association with you would
damage my ability/credibility to lobby for legitimate change &
improvement within the current structure. I DO want poker to be
Better.
You Know how i despise cheating. I don't have time to read rgp etc
etc anymore, but i Remind you to remain Accurate in Anything you
publicly say---make SURE you are 100% Certain about anything you
write, otherwise the Credibility of the Truthful/Accurate posts goes
out the window with the bathwater, and you lose the ear of the
respected & powerful whose influence Can help your cause, if they
believe at least some of what you say.
Barry G. approached me the other day to verify his willingness to
have me hold Cash for an apparent match[es] you guys are discussing.
It''s interesting to be trusted by both the celebrated Robinhood/good
Guy And the premier Criminal of the industry, both whom, sadly, have
taken plenty of my money from across the felt.....

The match never happened because Barry wanted to play while a
tournament was going, but not while one wasn't going. Meanwhile, he
was in Seattle 2 weeks ago and a game could have been arranged, but
Barry is always busy
But, as you see, Greenstein does take the match seriously, he just
wants thing his way, Negotitations. I can't take the chance, since I
prefer not to end up in the desert.
And yes, I did post this email without CK's approval.

trusting him much less 2 people !!

This is an email from Casey Kastle. In the first two years of the WPT,
he cashed more times than anyone else.
This is when Barry Greenstein and I were negotiating a match. Barry
wouldn't play unless a tournament was going at the time, I wouldn't
play if one was going at the time. I wanted to see who didn't belong
there for my own security.

The CK you're talking about is Richard Swarcth (spelling). Used to be
a pimp for Doyle as well as a takeoff guy. Has a deformity (twitch).
Came from a rich family, but he was the black sheep. Hs brother bought
him a house and car in the last 10 years or so, so he couldn't sell
either.
CK owes me at least 20K, debts from the 70s, 80s, 90s,. He's a decent
player when he isn't on drugs. Was a steer horse for Chip and Doyle in
the 70s and 80s. He wouldn't help anyone. Total piece of garbage. I
helped him so many times I can't count. He and Don Garrett. Both
POS's.

Buffy Shapiro had a lot of money at one time. Nephew of the Shapiro's
who created the TV series Dynasty. Ester Shapiro husband was Buffy's
uncle.
He wrote bad checks on their accounts, stole when he visited them, so
they barred him from the premises. The older posters on RGP know how
big a show Dynasty used to be. Besides, they had other shows. Filthy
rich.
Buffy blew millions, became a thief and screwed everyone everyway.
Died a couple of years ago. Hanks would know Don Garret. Staked Don
one day in a $100-$200 low ball game in the late 70s. He had a smooth
9 and didn't break it in a 4 way pot that went about 7 bets each.
He was last to act and stood pat when everyone drew. Check, check,
bet. Don had a $25 chip in front of him, which he shiould have put all-
in before the draw.
Instead, he doesn't call the $25 when the bet is made. But, another
guy who checked after the draw did with a K. The bettor had a pair.
I never backed Don after that. He didn't dump, just wanted $25 more to
get some cocaine.
