The organizers are pleased to announce that BARGE registration is
finally open at the following URL:

http://www.barge.org/barge2013info.shtml

Once you've read this page, you may click on the "registration"
link in the "Registration" section to register.

For those of you who can't handle instructions of this
complexity, you can jump directly to the following link:

https://www.conjelco.com/barge2013/barge2013reg.html

However, since we've changed quite a bit around this year including
adding some new events, we strongly urge you to familiarize yourself
with the schedule before registering.

Two things to note: A close inspection of the event prices for
this year will reflect that they have gone up compared to the last
couple of years. The reason for this is that we lost our long
time and much beloved sponsor this time out. We understand the
reasons this is the right move for them, and we harbor no ill will
whatsoever. In fact, once again we want to thank them for providing
so much generous support to us over the years. We are looking for
a new sponsor this year, but that will take time, and in the mean
time we open registration this year without a sponsor.

Second, we want to remind folks that we have a new events this year
we call the "Triathlon of Gambling". Players who register
(separately)
for this event accumulate points for finishes in the Chinese poker,
blackjack, and video poker events. The top point scorers in these
events who have registered for the Triathlon will play a no-limit
freeze-out to crown this year's "BARGE Ultimate Gambooler". Your
starting chips will be determined by how many points you accumulate.
You *may* register for the Triathlon without registering for all
three qualifying events, but you will be at a significant disadvantage
to those who enter all three. The registration software will allow
you to register for the Triathlon without signing up for *any* of
the qualifying events, but you'll be contributing money to the
prize pool with no chance of participating in the freeze out.
Understand? Are you sure? You have been informed.

See you at BARGE!

I would like to see Bill again at BARGE. Perhaps, he would shake my
hand this time.

We do need to make sure he at least knows about it.

Must be running out of family member +1's to keep the attendance up.

BARGE has become the lamest gathering of uninteresting boring people ever. Zero gamble. Zero interesting convo. Zero interesting new people.

Should really be renamed "BARGE Zero"

Maverick, your sad rant on Nolan's blog has to be the lamest squeak
coming from the most uninteresting, boring excuse for a gambler that
ever existed. It is so obvious that your self exile from BARGE is
absolutely killing you. You are a sick individual that really needs to
regain a life and find some help from a professional.

You sneak into BARGE every year and hide from any possible contact with
any of the quite interesting and new and fun folks that attend. Your
inability to actually have an interesting "convo" is YOUR problem; the
folks at BARGE are quite inviting and fun for even self-absorbed,
ego-centric nut cases like you ... if you would lose your "attitude" of
being the jerk that seeps out of you like pus.

it depends on how far the restrooms are from the poker area

no pun intended when using the term "depends" :)

So funny I forgot to laugh. It might be a lot funnier if you actually said that to his face.
