He may get killed in the opening scenes.
The theatre gave him a spontainious ovation when he did that in
Executive Decision.
I remember Travolta getting one also when he got wasted in Pulp
Fiction, but that was before we realized how good he was in that
movie, it also sparked his rebirth as Mr Cool. It would take a really,
really good movie for that to happen to fat boy. I don't think a good
enough role could be written.

Everybody in AZ becomes part Mexican after a while, so in that
sense.......but no, she'll simply be bored. I'll report back on how many
times she goes to the bathroom. It's the way I rate movies. A zero pee
is a 5 star movie, a 1 pee is a 4 star and so on.

As an aside (do to your Mexican reference) what I find amusing about
living in AZ:
My mom's folks came from Ukraine, peasant Jews. Yes, there were peasant
Jews just like in Fiddler on the Roof. If anybody could travel back in
time and tell mom's great grandparents that someday she'd be living in
close proximity to Mexicans and American Indians who could buy Jalepeno
bagels w/ blueberry cream cheese they'd try to have them put into an
asylum. But here we are.

A couple of decades ago (yikes) I worked somewhere that had a girl just

and about 68% with the professional critics. 68% is still respectable
though. I'd go with the viewers on this one, it sounds like a pretty
good action/adventure movie.
Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez made a "double-feature movie
experience" together not too long ago called "Grindhouse." It was two
movies in one. The purpose of which was to re-create the low budget
"rated X for violence" movies that appeared at sleazy, inner city
"Grindhouse" movie theaters of the circa 1970s era. These were the
theaters where you were probably risking personal exposure to violence
just by going into the vicinity of these theaters in the first place. It
was a place of Joe & Nemo burgers, cheap blow jobs and the sound of
foghorns drifting across the urban docks hard by.
Anyway, each director directed one of the double-feature movies.
"Machete" was originally a made-up "trailer" that was shown between the
two movies as one of the "Previews of Coming Attractions." as they were
called "in the day." (remember those at "double-features" at the
movies?) Another one of the "Previews of coming attractions," for
example, was "The Curse of Fu Manchu" or something like that: rated "X
for violence," of course.
Although the actual "double Feature" movies of "Grindhouse" were made
with a contemporary, technological quality, all the stuff "in between,"
like "The Previews of Coming atractions" were presented with the
authentically re-created, grainy "countdown bullseye clock," (or
whatever it was called) complete with audio skip and porn-movie- quality
audio in the preview movies themselves.
Appparently, they (Hollywood) decided to take the made-up for
"Grindhouse" Preview of coming attrations: "machete," and make a big
budget, full length feature film out of it.
"Grindhouse" is run on cable. I haven't seen it around for a few months,
but it'll be around again, no doubt.

Kurt Russell. That one was okay.
The other movie in the "double feature" was "Planet Terror," directed by
Robert Rodriguez and it was a Zombie movie. I couldn't wait for that to
be over; not being a big zombie movie fan.
I liked the concept of re-creating the old movie house thing, but the
best part was the made-up "Previews of Coming Attractions" part. And
"Machete" was one of them.
I'm kinda surprised that "Grindhouse" is rated so high. But then, there
seems to be a lot of horror movie fans out there. I mean, look at all
the "ghost shows" on the Travel Channel, etc. Haunted this and haunted
that and the "Top Ten Haunted Truck Stops" or whatever. They must get
decent ratings or they wouldn't show so many of them.
