No conference compares to the Big 10. Sure we've had our share of
disappointments in the BCS bowls, but no conference comes close to us from
top to bottom. For the old farts out here, Penn State was an annual
powerhouse playing as an independant. Once they joined the Big 10, they
found out how hard it is to play in this conference.

Is this a joke? Ohio St. has won this conference five years in a row,
and what happened to them every time they have played a credible out of
conference power in that time? EVERY TIME? I'm a Big Ten guy and we
get a bad rap, but right now, we thoroughly deserve it. Without
Michigan the conference is in a bad way. Hopefully it will turn around
soon, but claiming that we are the best football conference right now
pretty much makes you a loon.

Two points. First, the Big Ten actually has eleven teams so shouldn't it
be called the Big Ten and Little One, or The Big Eleven? Second, how long
will it take Michigan to admit they made a mistake and fire Rodriguez?

In your drunkeness, you forgot to point out how great the Raiders once
were.

Other sporting news just in from Raiderland (tic tic tic) Saints/ SEC
continue to struggle.

being a fan of a conference...or a league...or a division...is about
as lame as it gets.

It's like betting the field in craps
