What is the Ability /100 statistic?
The Ability rating is a rating that goes up to 100 and shows a player's
ability based on an assessment of all the other statistics we have
compiled for that player. It allows you to easily compare players who play
significantly different stake levels and tournament types - for example a
player who loses a small amount at high stakes games is likely a better
player than a player that wins money at very low stakes games - and so may
well have a higher Ability rating. To our knowledge, the highest rated
player currently has a rating of 96.
And guess what? According to this ability rating, I'm just as talented as
Mike Matusow!

It's so awesome that I have a ranking of 71 at PokerStars on SNGs and
a 50 ranking on FTP on SNGs. That may correlate nicely to the MOE.
I'm probably really a 60 on both.

Gee. That's a showstopper.

I wouldn't spread that around.
The "ability rating" is BS anyway. It says I'm a 66, while in real life I'm
a solid 96.5.
I looked up one guy recently and I saw this stat for the first time.
The guy I looked up won ~ 850K over the tracking period, is widely
regarded as one of the best online NLHE cash and tourny players, and
his ability ranking was a 66.
I'd like to see exactly how this value is computed. I am guessing
their computation has some holes in it.
