UPDATE 2: "Go Fuck Yourself, Mr. Cheney!" - CNN Reports it!
by STOP George [Subscribe]
Thu Sep 8th, 2005 at 09:34:41 PDT

UPDATE 2: They just had a segment called "Obscenity shouted at Vice
President". THEY REPORTED IT!!! Jack Cafferty went on to say, "This won't be
the last time he hears that." Great work, guys!!! Those emails paid off!!!
You can thank CNN and Cafferty at: caffer...@cnn.com

(thanks to Think Progress)

>>>VIDEO<<<

>>>AUDIO<<<
(thanks to Mustang dvs!)

I'm not kidding you. In Mississippi, during a press conference, after
telling the press that what needs to be done, gets done. A resident walked
up to the gaggle and said this:

"Go fuck yourself, Mr. Cheney!! Go fuck yourself!!!

Cheney looked pissed. Really pissed.

A reporter then asked him, "Do you get that a lot, Mr. Cheney?"

He replied, "That's the first time I've heard it. Must be a friend of John
er.. uh.. never mind."

It sounded as though he was pushed away (probably by the secret service).
CNN would not show this guy.

Is this a sign? Are we starting to hear the people revolt? I am thinking
about this spontaneous event and I'm thinking that this moment should be
repeated many, many times!!! Shall we call this...

THE RUDE AWAKENING MOVEMENT?

Oh, and here's The Vice President's email: vice_pr...@whitehouse.gov

This is it, guys!!! This is the rallying cry!!!

We are going to hear this on the news -- over and over again! It is a
pivotal moment in this story!!!

IT'S BRILLIANT!!!

And if we don't hear it this time, there's THOUSANDS of us that can repeat
this rallying cry whenever we see a news camera!!! Let's make it the
catchphrase of 2005!!! Remember, "Where's the beef?!"?(and you don't need
the VP to be there, BTW.)

1. News Camera with Journalist - Check.

2. Live broadcast - Check.

3. "Go fuck yourself, Mr. Cheney!"

4. Repeat

Altogether now:

Go Fuck yourself, Mr. Cheney!"

"Go fuck yourself, Mr. Bush!"

Go fuck yourself!!

Go fuck yourself!!

GO FUCK YOURSELF!!

I think you're smart enough (maybe not) to know this was not a
spontaneous event.

I can't hardly wait for the investigation of what went wrong and hope
to hell the "people revolt" against the correct public officials.

As a sad testimony to our mainstream media, this will get more play than the U.
N. scandal.

By the way, were you jerking off while typing your post. It has that feeling to
it.

It is amazing how the lack of respect for the position of President and
now Vice President has brought the extreme left to such low class
behavior. I doubt any of the prior people holding these positions had to
face such disrespect. Truly classless and you have put yourself in that
same category on this one WK.

I'd say the same thing if it happened in 1998 so don't think this is a
right vs. left issue. It's a human decency issue and anyone who supports
such behavior is rather pathetic.

Doesn't Cheney support it? Maybe it is only OK to say it to a Senator
and not a VP.

I'm sorry to disagree with you on that point, Ed, but I must.

The guy said "Mr. Cheney". At the same time as saying fuck you, he
referred to him with respect.

Odd.

Please tell me you know the difference between a heated political exchange
between the VP and a US Senator and a heckler at a press conference.
There are times when in the proper context it is acceptable to use such
terms and language. Then there are times when it's just plain
disrespectful and classless. If Cheney (or anyone else) went to a press
conference a Democratic Senator was having and chanted "Go fuck yourself",
I doubt you would see anyone besides the far right that would support his
actions. They too would be classless pieces of shit like WK supporting
the actions of this heckler.

You're comparing apples to oranges here.

Good lord. You must have been asleep in 1998. Back in the good old
respectul days when Congressman Dan Burton called Clinton "a scumbag".
I take it you never listened to right wing radio during the Clinton
years either. Not a whole lot of "respect for the office" there
either.

The lack of respect for the office can be traced to the
anti-authoritarian movements of the 60s, of course. And then it was
taken up a few notches by some pundits who got really rich
disrespecting Clinton.

BTW, I say this as an leftist who happens to think Clinton is, in fact,
a scumbag.

sorry to report this to you, but Clinton disrespected himself and the
office, not the other way around.

Actually, proper respect would have been to say, "Go fuck yourself, Vice
President Cheney." or "Go fuck yourself, Mr. Vice President." Although
times have changed some, it used to be looked upon as a sign of disrespect
to refer to the President and VP as Mr. Bush or Mr. Cheney. If you pay
close attention, many will address past presidents and vice presidents
this way. You almost always hear people address President Clinton in this
manner. Next time you see one of them interviewed on TV, you will notice
it.

There is a huge difference between people on the radio, TV, internet
newsgroups and such calling the President a scumbag or saying they should
go fuck himself and a US Citizen doing it in public to the actual
President or Vice President (or Senator for that matter IMO). If you see
my other post to Rich, I think I rambled a bit on how this is more about
addressing the President or Vice President directly in person.

I'm sure lack of respect could be dated back long before the 60's.

On the brighter side of this issue, while I disagree with this protester's
method and disrespect for office, I guess we should all feel good that we
live in a country that allows such free speech to occur.

Politics in this country (and most others) has never been all that
civil. The 1800 election was certainly nastier than any recent one.

Fair enough. I still contend you can not compare the two instances.

Since you don't support either, then two wrongs don't make it right.

JohnnyD suggests:

"sorry to report this to you, but Clinton disrespected himself and the
office, not the other way around. "

If you're referring to the skirt-chasing, Clinton was hardly the first
president to disgrace himself in that way. If you're referring to any
other sort of sleaziness, the Clinton administration wasn't
particularly bad. Of course, if you're a "Vince Foster was murdered"
wingnut you believe all sorts of ridiculous things about the Clintons.
But as far as overall corruption level is concerned, the current
administration is much much worse than anything the Clintons got away
with.

Clinton was a smart, hard-working and well-organized president. While
he was in office, the United States Government became a more efficient
and effective organization. The same could not be said about the
current administration.

It's kind of hypocritical for you to correct someone else's post by saying
they are referring to Vice President Cheney incorrectly and then in
another post you refer to him as "Cheney." Seems to me the "rules" don't
apply for you.

1 step forward.....2 steps back

ecr72

unread,

You may have missed one of the posts or missed the point. I've been
talking about people addressing the man, not talking about him on the
radio, TV, internet newsgroup, or other outlets.

Let's try it again. Reposted from an earlier response to JG:

"There is a huge difference between people on the radio, TV, internet
newsgroups and such calling the President a scumbag or saying they should
go fuck himself and a US Citizen doing it in public to the actual
President or Vice President (or Senator for that matter IMO). If you see
my other post to Rich, I think I rambled a bit on how this is more about
addressing the President or Vice President directly in person. "

As far as me correcting anyone, I was only correcting the heckler that
used the term "Go fuck yourself, Mr. Cheney", not any poster in this
thread. Here's the repost of what you are referring to as my being
hypocritical correcting someone elses post:

"Actually, proper respect would have been to say, "Go fuck yourself, Vice
President Cheney." or "Go fuck yourself, Mr. Vice President." Although
times have changed some, it used to be looked upon as a sign of disrespect
to refer to the President and VP as Mr. Bush or Mr. Cheney. If you pay
close attention, many will address past presidents and vice presidents
this way. You almost always hear people address President Clinton in this
manner. Next time you see one of them interviewed on TV, you will notice
it."

So please tell me where I tried correcting anyone else's post? Someone
said it was respectful because the heckler said "Mr. Cheney". All I said
was that anyone addressing the Pres or VP as "Mr." is disrespectful.

Do you care to take back your comments about me now?

Fokes you need to understand that being a Liberal is an emotional disorder.

Wilhelm Klink-mman cannot be made happy. Its just not possible. He hated the
world when Bill Clinton was in office just as much as he hates it now. And if
Hillary wins in 2008 nothing in his world will change. He'll find something to
bitch about. Birds crap on your car window and dogs crap on your lawn. Thats
what birds and dogs do. Liberals are the same and you cannot expect anything
else from them.

Willhelm lives in a world of hate. He hates America, he hates freedom,  he hates
people, and he hates life. If you think Willhelm gives a rats ass about the poor
people of New Orleans your saddly mistaken. He hates them.

Willhelms dark uneventful life consists of nothing greater than
posting random nasty nonsense on any message board he can find. Even a poker
message board. A poker message board? On man thats really sad when you stop and
think about it.

But on the other hand I'm sure Willhelm fine dancer and a snappy dresser.

Yeah, I saw that live on MSNBC while chomping on a turkey sandwich at lunch.
(Symbolism??) "Did that guy yell what I just think he yelled?........Yup."

Overheard in Gulfport later on...

"Where's Jimmy? I sent him out to grab a few bags of ice hours ago!"

"Maybe he got held up because of the Vice President's tour."

"Well, someone said they thought they heard him YELLING at Dick Cheney."

"Nahhhhhhhhhh, Jimmy wouldn't do that. He's a good boy."

On Thursday September 8, young Jimmy disappeared from the face of the earth.

You hate life and living. Seeing others enjoying life causes you pain. There is
nothing anyone can do to help you. Your life means nothing Wilhelm. Because you
care for nothing, nothing cares for you. You live alone and will die alone. Then
you will be buried and forgotten. And you will leave behind nothing to even
prove to ever existed.

You are wrong. I like Wilhelm and have great respect for him. While my
boyfriend plays online poker, I have read many of Wilhelm's posts and he
reminds me of one of my 10th grade teachers. They are both very smart. I
wish Wilhelm would come speak to my class because most other students need
to learn some of Wilhelm's knowledge. And I wish my boyfriend was not so
childish and was more mature like Wilhelm is, but what can you expect from a
17 year old.

That really doesn't matter. My boyfriend used to do that but he doesn't
anymore and I am sure Wilhelm is married or has a girlfriend. I go to
school here in Las Vegas and I have a good grade average so far but I get Bs
in math. I hope I can improve but I find math very difficult. If only my
math teacher could explain math to me as clearly as Wilhelm explains things
to you people who are not as smart as he is. And my boyfriend will be lucky
