Axiomatic ones, "followers" of Kotkoduck & Kokostirk, I couldn't believe my eyes! I googled (that's 'search for you, K & K!) on this important query: 'Markov Chains in lottery'. I couldn't find a specific thread in rec.gambling.lottery dedicated to such an important matter.

Hey, this is the hou' of the smartest and toughest netizens of the virtual world! Let's fix that oxymoron -- 'rec.gambling.lottery without Markov Chains in lottery', shall we? And thusly I announce that there is special software for the application of Markov Chains. I wrote it in the hot summer (global warming, anyone?) of the year of grace 2015.

Moreover, I have already made important changes to the Markov Chain programs. Now both 'Followers' and 'Follower-like Pairings' can have null lines; i.e. no Followers or no Pairings. A null line is represented by -1 (minus 1).

New, the Followers and Follower-like Pairings are generated by the same methodology. The Followers are still calculated by the longer analysis range for pairings (ParpaluckP). The Follower-like Pairings are generated by the shorter analysis range for number frequency (ParpaluckF).

This Markov Chains method also shows an improvement in performance based on analyses of past drawings in several lottery games.

That's the fundamental contradiction of the Markov Chains theory: The change depends and depends not on past events.

'Ion Saliu's Paradox', on the other hand, does prove a mathematical relation between future and past. 63% of the elements are unique, while 37% of the elements are repeats (from the past, that is, that it is).

My theory related to the Markov Chains is far superior: The elements trend to associate with one another in different measures. I applied to lottery by a strategy named 'wonder grid' or 'pairing of numbers'.

In the same spirit as frequency and skip strategies for UK 659 lotto, let's apply the Markov Chains to lottery. The size of the drawings file is small. We analyzed only the most recent 60 draws in order to accommodate the two parpalucks: 79 draws for pairings and 20 drawings for number frequency.

The Report function of the software created several files, including a list of followers. The pivot numbers are not listed, but they can be seen in the Notepad++ editor (freeware). The pivots are the numbers in the lotto game listed in ascending order from 1 to 59.

For example, the lotto number 2 is listed in line #2. Its followers was (Markovespeak!):

In generating mode, the Markov lottery software randomly picks numbers. If lotto number 2 was picked, the next random number must be from its followers only. In this draw, number 7 was picked.

The next (3rd) random number must be from the list of followers for lotto number 7:

In this real-life case, lotto number 21 was picked.

The next (4th) random number must be from the list of followers for lotto number 21:

In this particular case, lotto number 22 was picked.

In this particular case, lotto number 47 was picked.

The generating function starts over with a new random number for position #1 in the lotto combination and the cycle above is repeated until the user stops the process.

Them Markov Chains just prove that the famed mathematical theory is simply OUTDATED. It did not have a solid mathematical foundation to begin with! Predicting random events requires far more parameters than just the last state. Not to mention that everything is random, the Universe itself is random: Randomness rules!

In this specific application of Markov Chains to lottery, we can take advantage of a well-known fact. Lottery combinations generated via Markov-Chains algorithms do NOT hit significant prizes for the very next or few future drawings. Therefore, feed them to my proprietary 'LIE Elimination' lottery strategy. It is referred to in several threads I authored in RGL. ASCII and you shall find.

No doubt, the Markov Chains have their own fame and reputation. The theory has been around for over five-score years (since 2013). It shows some success in events of higher probability. I describe such phenomena as having lower degrees of randomness:

Lottery itself is part of randomness, albeit of a higher degree thereof. Indubitably, the Markov Chains theory is applicable to lottery as well. I also wrote specialized software to apply the Markov Chains theory to lottery. Again, there is some success. The theory, however, is best when applied as ‘LIE Elimination’ strategy. It is extremely rare that sets of thousands of lotto combinations generated by Markov Chaining software will record ‘4 of 6’ winners in the next draw.

Thus, one can generate scores of thousands of lotto combination and feed them to the ID5 filter of the ‘LIE Elimination’ function (in LotWon lottery software). The tactic could be applied in conjunction with another famous lottery strategy: SKIPS:
