I didn’t intend for this to be a balanced wheel, just the least lines
without using two wheels (i.e, a straight wheel).
As I wrote in Ions thread, if you wish for true integer balance within
a wheel which is well feasible, place 49 numbers 42times each in
343lines.
As shown here it can be achieved 100% in 319lines, so to 343lines you
have loads of 'wiggle room' to place the numbers. for the only truly
balanced wheel (lowest possible using 49numbers and only one single
wheel).

then one combination you are wheeling. Combinations
in and of themselves are full wheels for . . .

Nice wheel. Question: How would we test to determine
whether a randomized split wheel isn't at the core of
one of these non-split wheels? With over 300 lines I
can randomize the split 100%(49,6,3,6)=163 then drop a
(49,6,3,6)=136 open cover around it to claim 299 lines
and still come up with a closed (49,6,3,6)=299 tested,
with every number coming in contact with every other
number thanks to the additional open cover lines. RP

Transpose just raises everything up or down one at a
time, good for opening the hole up front for key numbers.
Can't build a 2if6 or even a 3if6 around a closed 3if6
as they're already covered, have to build a (49,6,3,5)
around it. Lots of room in there to do some interesting
stuff like a 3+3=jackpot wheel and build an open cover
around the split core and still come up 100% (49,6,3,6)=299.

The high-low stuff might help you avoid a preponderance of birthday
numbers and boost your chances of not sharing the jackpot. It's
difficult to find any similar justification for odd-even filtering.

My understanding is that when a chart is produced for the cover as in
your Covermaster program after sorting by dependency there should be a
smooth progression as opposed to tiered in your cover and as in the
163 line merged cover with a plateau for the C(22,6,3.3)=77.
On this basis the 112 line Peteros Cover with Normal Distribution but
duplicate Threes is the best published so far in my way of looking at
this.

3 and check that the coverage is a multiple of 20. As I recall the
last partial cover with unique threes in John Rawson's list was Gary
at 73 lines with 88.27719% coverage. I have done a full cover with
unique threes in 365 lines.

This thread is quite clearly about building a cover for a 6/49 Lotto
game where duplicate combinations of three integers are allowed but
the prize group distribution is normal ie for around 300 lines in the
3's the 3's x 6 should be dominant. There should be no obvious
evidence of merges being used but unlike the information offered by
one contributor in this group you need to know and apply cover theory
and techniques to build record covers and of course I did this with my
365 record with unique threes. To suggest using only concoctions based
on random selections is at best unsophisticated, probably ignorant and
at least naive.
I believe the author of Covermaster, John Rawson, was being a bit
magnanimous when he only "shaved" one line off to bring it down to 311
lines. I'll extend the same courtesy before giving details on what is
achievable. If you would like your name to be mentioned - I suggest
you shave one off too!

307 is not the end of the line - just remember the rules from my point
of view are that the prize group distribution is normal ie a bell
curve around the main Threes group which must reflect what is expected
as per the odds for the lines played, duplicate paying subsets allowed
and a reasonably tight integer distribution - say a range less than 8.

are disallowed.

to 100% while you snooze. There are others that require
a degree of skill with the program to construct. Wheels
that will never close unless one puts some thought into it.
