The 110th NKL lottery runs from April 1st to September 30th.
The ticket price for a full ticket is Euro 140 (nearly US$ 149)
per month. The complete price per lottery (six months) is Euro 840.
Half, quarter and eighth tickets are available too. With this
ticket fraction you will win a fraction of a cash prize.
In case of a non-cash prize your chance to win depends of your
ticket fraction. (With a full ticket you have full chances, with
a half ticket you have half chances and so on.)
The amount of ticketnumbers is 3,000,000.
There is a fixed winning plan, guaranteed by ten german states:
Top Prize: Euro 10 million (nearly US$ 10,650,000).
Every day we draw Euro 1 million.
Now the are 304 prizes of Euro 1 million or more.
Attractive non-cash prizes every months: Houses in Spain,
10-year pay-outs or dream cars. You can get cash money instead
of a non-cash prize.

The smallest fraction at the NKL lottery is 1/8th ticket.

This costs are compareable with lotto 6 of 49 or how much money
do you spend for lotto weekly?
With 1/8th ticket you can win Euro 1,250,000 with a chance of
1 : 3,000,000.

you have to be optimistic, you and your family want to
earn money by selling tickets.
Here is my comparison of the NKL lottery with the
german 6of49 and 6of45 lottery:
1) If we play a full NKL ticket, we have to pay 840 Euro,
get only one ticket with one number combination on it
and then we have to wait 6 months until we know how
much we won or how much we loosed.
A very poorly game in my opinion.
Now to the chances for the main price:
For every drawing the chance is 1:3,000,000 to have
all numbers right.
A better chance is not possible per drawing because we
have only one number combination, but there are several
drawings within 6 months.
1:3,000,000 means, we have to wait in average 3,000,000
drawings until we have all numbers on our ticket right.
How many centuries have we theoretically to wait if we
play every year with one number combination and how
much money we have to invest ?
2) In the 6/49 lottery we pay 0.75 Euro for each 6 number
combination. For 850 Euro we can buy 850 : 0.75 = 1120
tickets with different 6 number combinations.
The advantage at 6/49 is now, that we can use the
850 Euro also for a single drawing, which increases our
winning chance dramatically:
1120 : 13,983,816 = 1 : 12,486.
In Germany we can play on a single ticket different systems
and up to 3003 combinations (6 of 14), so that we can forget
the ticket handling cost of 0.50 Euro for a system ticket.
Also we have a 6/45 lottery, where the first price for 6
right numbers is about 200,000 Euro, but increases week
by week, if there is no winner, sometimes to more than
1,000,000 Euro. Time to collect 850 Euro.
For a 6 number combination we have to pay 0.65 Euro.
850 : 0.65 = 1,308. We can buy 1,308 tickets.
The winning chance for the main price is
then 1308 : 8,145,060 = 1 : 6227 .
If we play every 6 months for 850 Euro the 6/45 lottery,
then our winning chance is higher than playing with
850 Euro at the NKL lottery.
I say again : don't play the NKL or SKL, it is expensive
and without fun and it has smaller winning chances than
a 6of45 lottery game with the same money investment!
It is only a marketing trick to speak about a total winning sum.
This information doesn't help the players for anything.
If one agent has once got your private adress in Germany,
you will get every week NKL or SKL spam with the snail mail.
