A Study in Paranoia

A single person has the energy and wherewithall to drive a complete
newsgroup into oblivion. A man is on some delusional crusade to save
the world from the evil casinos who are cheating us out of our money, as
well as 'con men and hucksters' who are selling us worthless card
counting systems. All casinos use the preferential shuffle against all
players, so they are always cheating. The whole casino empire has a big
conspiracy against us...and only HE realizes this...
Anyone who dares give a contrary, or perhaps a more subjective opinion
is immediately a liar, a con-man, an alias, or _HEAVEN FORBID_ somebody
who has enough blackjack knowledge to have written a gambling article
that was published...sheesh! They must have some sort of
'agenda'...they _MUST_ be trying to sell a worthless system or work for
the casinos. It's all a big conspiracy, and only he and his imaginary
friends know the REAL truth.
I really want everybody here to picture how pathetic this person's life
really must be. It really takes an incredible amount of time and effort
to spam the newsgroup daily with all the lawsuit threats, false
accusations, and repetitive anti-counting babble. Can you imagine
dedicating that much of your life to such a worthless activity?
I like to think that most people here are, in general, blackjack
enthusiasts who are looking for a forum to share information about one
of our passions. I may be taking much for granted here, but I sense
that MOST of us have normal lives that we supplement with the joy,
challenge, and excitement that comes from playing blackjack. Some of us
with the proper attitude and aptitude actually can sustain an advantage
at the game. A newsgroup should be a forum for the friendly exchange of
information about a common interest. Rec.gambling.blackjack.moderated
has the potential to be just that.
You would think that this person, if he actually believed what he posts,
would actually APPRECIATE having a moderated group. Certainly all the
touts, con-men, and system hucksters would go there--a newsgroup where
the "TRUTH" will be censored, leaving rec.gambling.blackjack as the TRUE
newsgroup where the "TRUTH" will still be heard.
It's all a big conspiracy. It's all a study in paranoia.
You people really should not hate him...you should pity him.

Your a dentist?, you should be an educated man.
The point is that even with the proper attitude and aptitude you cannot
sustain an advantage in the game of blackjack with the present day
conditions and the prefferential shuffle.
If you still think you can you are WRONG!.
There is no "joy, challenge, or exitement" when the pit critter
yells shuffle every time you get a favorable count and blows your
advantage right out of the water!
IS IT GETTING THROUGH YET GARY??
Your better off sticking to rooting around in odor ridden ,diseased mouths
than playing BJ in todays conditions.

Now, I suppose it's possible Doogie has some sort of requirement for
sub-400 verbal SAT scores, but the coincidence is too strange. Both
have trouble with "you're" and "your." But - "you've" seems to
present no problem:
