My colleagues and I will be in Las Vegas for 8 days in November the
COMDEX trade show. We are looking for some new places to eat to add to
our list of places we already like. Our favorite is Jeromes! We haven't
been there for a year.

Looking forward to all suggestions.

There's a homey & inexpensive Italian place north of the strip and south
of downtown on 4th called CHICAGO JOES. Their pasta is very good.

If you like Italian, try Battista's Hole in the Wall. It is one block east of
the strip on the side street between Bally's and Barbary Coast. Their prices
are quite reasonable and the food is really good.

A couple of hints for LV from a local

1.) Italian: try That's Italian on West Sahara. Another good suggestion
is Batista's.
2.) Steakhouses: The Golden Steer. Right of The Strip on Sahara. Some of
the best Steaks in town.
3.) French: Andre's it's in the downtown area, very expensive and quite
upscale, but probably the best restaurant in town IMHO. Also try the
Pamplemousse on Sahara right below Paradise.
4.) Continental: Try the Cafe Michelle on East Sahara (mostly Italian) or
it's sister restaurant on the other side of town (I forget where).
5.) Chinese: Chin's in the Fashion Show Mall is great.

The only problem is that for Comdex, most of these places will be
crowded. It's almost impossible to eat out at that time of year.
