Now that the kitchen is overflowing with produce, and I have time to either chop & freeze or make salsa, but not both, do tomatillos freeze well? Should I chunk them, or will they mush away when frozen so I might as well send them through the food processor right away?

I oven roast them and then either can or freeze them. Taste good in cooked dishes. So do just plain old heated ones ( cooked in the microwave and then frozen). Good luck in finding a process that suits

Thanks! I can probably toss a tray in the oven while picking peppers. How long do you roast? At what temperature? And do you roast before or after chopping?
