Does anyone know of a good way to freeze fresh green beans?

Wash them, cut the ends, put on a tray, freeze. Then put in bag (1 pound
each approx.) You can keep them up to 6 mos.

I always blanch mine before freezing. (Usually 3 minutes in boiling water then
cool as fast as possible before bagging and freezing.) We eat them until the next
crop is ready. I will say that with almost no exceptions, fresh is better than
frozen no matter what you do but, these are as close as possible.
Best,
Bill

Cut tops and tails off, cut up if you like, then blanche briefly in boiling
water. Allow them to drain and freeze in plastic bags. Or if you like them
free-flow, freeze on trays covered with waxed paper to prevent drying,
then quickly bag when fully frozen.

If they're kinda old and big, french cut them before blanching, and then
freeze in ziplock freezer bags. *Much* better than commercial frozen!
