I have been unable to find saltpeter either in Brazil or in the USA.
Is there any other way for curing meat?
I thank you in advance

In article <01bc8294$c74cc880$1cd7ffc8@leonposv>,

Saltpeter should be available at any pharmacy/apothecary/drug-store.

Other methods of preserving include smoking, drying, salting, and
corning.

Saltpeter is one of the three components of black powder (gunpowder) and
can be used in a large variety of other explosives and propellants. It
very well may be totally unavailable or strictly regulated in some
areas.
