Help - Please does anybody have a recipe for making Blackberry/Bramble
Gin. I have made Sloe Gin and thought that I'd do something else too.
Finding some of the biggest Brambles I've seen for a long time - I
picked them but didn't dream I'd have such trouble finding a recipe.
Is it because this fruit doesn't work well. If someone could let be
know either way ASAP that would be great. I'd hate for them to spoil.

Many thanks.

Steve.

rec.food.cooking recently had a recipe for blackberry curd -- like
lemon curd only with blackberries. Not as good as gin, of course, but
an enticing way to use blackberries.

Put some blackberries in a big jar or bottle, add a load of sugar, cover
with gin - leave for several months. Not so hard is it? Theres a recipe
in one of my Preserves books somewhere - but thats all it is - the fruit
and sugar are to taste - so depends hoe sweet and fruity you like your
drink
