libs-fave-policies/>

Whole Foods is closing its flagship San Francisco location after a little
more than a year in business due to rising crime.

Maybe now ‘Frisco’s rich, white progressives will finally pay attention to
the ongoing damage done by their favored policies.

True, they’ve ignored sky-high murders and violence.

Yes, they’ve dismissed the massive human cost imposed by the “wave them
in” immigration policies they love.

Those policies, executed by the Biden White House, have flooded the Bay
Area with fentanyl — killing addicts, destroying their families and
gnawing away at society.

That includes the infamous Tenderloin turning into an open-air drug
market.

Yes, the city’s seen some sanity in recent months: Voters booted woke DA
Chesa Boudin and Mayor London Breed is starting to talk some sense.

But the pro-crook, anti-cop progressive policies still have crime rising
and the San Francisco Police Department in a staffing crisis to rival New
York’s.

The store already reduced hours last fall over crime concerns — high
levels of shoplifting and drug addicts who turned its bathrooms into
shooting galleries.

Now management is fully closing it out of concerns that workers are no
longer safe.

You know — those low-wage little guys progressives are supposed to be so
concerned about.

Maybe now that the bien-pensants are down one location for overpriced
organic greens and sustainably farmed halibut, they might finally realize
that their social-justice movement has caused only social decay.

More likely, they’ll just hire more private security — or move to gated
communities.

They can afford to remain invincible in their ignorance.

Whole Foods is owned by Amazon (Jeff Bezos), do you
seriously think Bezos, who is known for his Dickensian working
conditions would close a premises that is making money. Really?

Maybe the white progressives don't like shopping at Whole
Paycheck. Why pay more and get less? Even a libertarian would go
elsewhere.

Got any numbers there?

Those filthy immigrants cutting your lawn, cooking your
food at your favourite restaurant, taking care of your kids,
cleaning your house and office? Those immigrants, or are there
other kinds of immigrants?

The Biden White House alas is following the same policies
as previous administrations alas.

The Tenderloin has always been an open-air drug and
prostitution market. That's where people, even Republicans go for
drugs and sex.

Not because no one wanted to shop there, empty shelves
and high prices? Any free market libertarian will explain to you
that when it comes to retail prices, people are sensitive to
prices.
