Heublein, Inc. - Truffles Chocolate Liquer

Hello all,

I am trying to find out whatever happened to Heublein, Inc.
and more specifically Truffles Chocolate Liqueur.

Truffles was a creamy chocolate liqueur and I have been
unable to find it, or an acceptable replacement for it for
some time now.

Godiva makes a Chocolate Liqueur, but it is not as creamy and
does not have the same, sweet taste.

Any info would be appreciated.

Matt,
Following several reorganizations and mergers, the former Heublein is now
part of the larger Guinness UDV. The Truffles product was discontinued
quite a long time ago. There is nothing that is currently on the market
that is similar to this product. My suggestion is to find a mixed drink
that might satisfy what you are looking for. My wife, who is a chocoholic,
enjoys chocolate martinis. There are quite a few different recipes for this
drink. Let me know if you want one (the recipe that is).

Thanks for the info, that is kind of what I suspected.
It has been a couple of years, I was not sure if Heublein
was no longer being distributed in my area, or if in fact
it was gone.

I used to use Truffles in a coffee drink. It may sound odd, but a shot of
sambuca, and a shot of Truffles finished off with coffee was a pretty tasty
little warm beverage. I'll just have to experiment with something else.
