Christer Pettersson was the assassin who shot down the
Swedish prime minister Olof Palme 1986. After more than a year
under arrest he was released because of insufficient proofs.
When he left the prison, with the biggest damages in Swedish
crime history in his pocket he went to the closest
wine and spirit shop and bought two bottles of Baileys and one
bottle of vodka, which he mixed in a bucket to
one big single cocktail and knocked back.
At most Swedish bars, since then, you can buy a small
"Christer Pettersson" or a "mini-Killer" which is:
4 cl Baileys
2 cl vodka
served in a shot glass.
At some bars (as my) you can buy a real "Christer Pettersson" which is:
2 bottles of Baileys
1 bottle of vodka
served in a bucket.
That's the ultimate cocktail, isn't it ?
