Because a long time ago there had been a small group of members who were
engaged in collecting the recipes that were posted and placing them at
that site. The ones they put up before they disbanded still exist there.

For further administrative questions, please write to the moderation
team at rfcj-mods at zorch dot sf-bay dot org. (Obviously, replace the
at and dot with the appropriate symbol). Please read the mini-FAQ
posted twice monthly.
