Am I the only person who thinks they should have let the tiger be? He
had done absolutely nothing wrong. The idiot who put his arm in the
tiger's enclosure got what he deserved.

Yes, seems that there could have been a better solution. I don't
really care for zoos unless they are to rehabilitate animals or protect
endangers species. Never a good Idea to enter any part of ones body
into the tigers cage. In Yellowstone many injuries are sustained from
tourists wanting to pose for a selfie with the buffalo. Tourists
totally lose their minds sometimes while vacationing.

What would that solution be? Amputate the guy's arm? Push him in so
the tiger could kill him? Make some phone calls until you find someone
with a tranquilizer gun?

Yes, the guy was stupid. If the zoo was open and staff on site there
may have been a better solution but under the circumstances, not many
choices. Who dies, man or tiger?

There was staff on site. The cleaning man was staff. Maybe a taser,
all Police here have one as well as a gun which the guy used. I'll let
you choose who dies... oops too late.

SNIP

I won't say "all" but the major of zoos in the US and also zoos
around the world belong to the WCS, the Wildlife Conservation Society.
Their aim is to protect and secure threatened species around the
world.

Never thought of that. My cleaning lady was here this morning but I did
not ask if she had a taser. Pretty sure she is trained in both mopping
floors and subduing wild animals.

There are still a lot of zoos that are not WCS. Statten Island Zoo is
one. But thinking about it most of NY is a zoo. (:

How dare you! NYC is the finest place in the world to reside. My sect
is located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and I wouldn't trade places with
anyone. All of our zoos are top-notch. The zoo in Florida did nothing
wrong.
