if not here, ask in the food.sour conference ... they're almost

all bread. As for self-rising flour, just sift in

1 Tbs baking powder with each cup of plain (all purpose) flour.

Please verify that you mean a TABLESPOON of flour? Sounds high to me.

Doesn't self-rising flour contain salt also? I thought I saw some
on the ingredients list on the package I bought. Of course, that was a
long time ago and there are probably different types of this stuff.

1 teaspoon of baking powder to a cup of flour, as a substitute for
self-raising flour.
