- 2 cloves of garlic - 1 half cup mushrooms ends and pieces
- 1 half pound italian sausage - 1 can tomato paste
- 2 tbsp oregano - 3 tbsp Parmesan cheese grated
- a pinch of ? - ? tbsp shortening
- 1 cup flour - 1 tsp olive oil
But no mixing instructions? no baking instructions? no fennel

I guess you have to watch the episode for more instructions.

Meantime, put all ingredients in a bowl and mix well, Spread it out on
a cookie sheet and back until it is solid enough to eat.

Well, it's a half-assed recipe from Hollywood writers' mistaken
opinions of "pizza" in the mid 60's of what pizza might mean to a
Fremchman or Italian in 1940 (2 TB oregano? Shortening?). Also,
LeBeau would have used metric measurements.

It's a shame there was never a true final episode(s)of Hogan's
Heroes. They whole camp could have escaped in grand fashion the
night before a Burkhalter's visit the next morning.

I think they got most of the recipe from reading a box of Chef
Boyardee pizza kit, which, in 1962, contained a packet of "parmesan"
cheese, a packet of seasoning, and a can of sauce with Italian
sausage in it. And the flour mix already had shortening mixed into

When was a kid the only pizza we knew was the Chef Boyardee pizza kit.
I think that is the main reason that I have never been a big fan of
pizza. It took a long time to overlook those horrible things.

Hogan's Heroes also provides important information on how to escape from Nazi POW camps. This could be useful in the future for prisoners stuck in Republican Reeducation Centers. We must study these episodes carefully. Pizza? I already know how to make a pizza.

I loved that kit because you assembled the pizza using pizza modules. I loved doing shit like that - still do.

Seriously? I find it hard to believe that some people here
are so food picky.

I can see not ever ordering one again if you don't like
it much, but to toss it out?

Not suffering. Just that I don't hate much food. I've never
bought something that was so bad that I'd toss it out. Might be
just OK and never order again, but never so bad to toss it out.
Some here have even claimed having to spit out the first bite

We know you are an indiscriminate eater. Some of us are quite
selective.

Just as you find it hard to believe people are so picky, I find
it hard to believe you are so un-picky.

I'm one of those. Not the spitting. I had one small bite of Beyond Burger
and threw the rest away. Scrambled eggs for dinner that night.

I'm very careful about what I order in restaurants, where the
stakes are higher.

I have.

Just last week I dumped an almost full quart of fat-free Half-n-Half. Why
I thought it would be good, I don't know. I must have fallen and hit my head
before entering the store. The carton stating it was fat-free Half-n-Half
which is half milk and half cream should have clued me in. How can cream
be fat-free???

It was really awful tasting. Lesson learned; if they're out of the real stuff,
don't buy the fake stuff.

There's no cream. There's skim milk and a bunch of whiteners and thickeners.
I'm frankly surprised they're allowed to call it "Half and Half".

We're about to throw out 2 bottles of hot sauce because it gave my
wife sinus problems/headaches and me too a bit. They probably OD'd on
the preservative. I actually just checked: "MADE IN USA. CONTAINS
SULPHITE".

So yes, we throw that out but not because we didn't like it. I could
put it on everything. Back to my own chillies.

Fat-free stuff is kinda wierd. Sometimes one brand is awful but
another is actually good.

Sometimes one type is good or bad universally. FF cheeses are never
very good. FF sourcreams can good be if not cooking with them.

When I was a little boy of five or six, I had dinner at my friend’s house.
His mom cooked asparagus, and I either didn’t like the smell or the name. I
was forced to eat a bite, and I threw up. That showed ‘em!
I hated asparagus for over twenty years, just because. Then I bought a meal
with which it was served. The meal cost me money. I ate it because it cost me
money. It turns out,I love asparagus.

Flour and water makes a good thickener. Flour and 2% milk might work. Of
course, that may be what faux half and half is. Cornstarch and skim milk
would be a half and half as well, sort of.

The vast majority of facism in this country emanates from the left -- think of it as a sort of "soft totalitarianism" "1984" is fast becoming a reality -- aided and abetted by MSM, academia, social/electronic media, entertainment, the coastal liberal elites...and also the ignorance of history that is rife these days...and most especially the absence of critical thinking skills.

I don’t troll, I don’t think. I occasionally respond to political views
that are opposed to mine. You mentioned a vague right-wing re-education
thought. I pointed out a specific left-wing re-education agenda, with fear of
losing one's job and reputation, that’s going on within the federal
government, private enterprise and our education system right now.
Read “1984”. The ones who lead you have. We’re just a bit late, and I

heh heh. The craziest thing I've seen Bear do is once when
he was in Africa and he found a fresh pile of elephant poo.
He explained that it's a good source of water in a survival
situation. Ok, true enough but he insisted on demonstrating.

Please, Bear, I believe you! You don't have to actually do
it. But he did. He picked it up and held it over his head
and squeezed the water into his mouth.

I always figured that once he came home from one of these
shows, his wife probably makes him take several showers
and brushes his teeth several times before she kisses him.
LOL

I would always eat them first just to get it over with,

That's just a traditional old ppl thing to do.
The older generation ridicules the younger generation's
choice of hair styles and clothing. Kids always want
to be different than their parents.

Remember the old sitcom parody of that?
"Family Ties" with Michael J. Fox

His parents were old democrat hippies so he dressed up in suits
like a business man and had republican beliefs.

It has already been bought and paid for. I certainly wouldn't buy
something to eat that either one of us disliked or that there was a
good chance that we would dislike.
I can mentally run through the ingredients for a recipe and the way it
is put together and reasonably guess that we would like it or not.

Some folks consider sex addiction, or even mere hypersexuality, as perverse.
The way I see it, consensual sex that isn't particularly exploitative, in any
quantity, is fine, and I say that as a French vanilla heterosexual who has seldom
strayed outside committed serial pair bonds, in spite of having issues with
hypersexuality. If a person is not hurting others in pursuit of sexual delights, I'm
not going to call that person a pervert.

"The definition of a pervert is a person with abnormal sexual behavior.
An example of a pervert is someone who peeks into his or her neighbor's

view of the windows accross the way one could say the one being peeped
on is hoping to be peeped on. Normal people are quite aware that they
are making it easy to be peeped on. When I was 13 years old I'd visit
a school chum who lived in an apartment building. Bathrooms and
bedrooms were all one above the other. I showed him how to make a
periscope from a cardboard tube and mirrors. We painted our tube
black so it was nearly invisable at night, the apartment above was lit

You were protected by your youth because such behaviour in an adult would
be a perversion and likely to be breaking the law. It's typical of sexual
offenders to blame the victim, as you do with "Normal people are quite
aware that they are making it easy to be peeped on".

Normal people do not anticipate deviant behaviour requiring blacked out

I certainly deny teens don't have sex. I just don't post saying "legal
age should be 14". Age has nothing to do with maturity. Immature age
and ignorance has plenty to do with teenage pregnancy.

You're talking like a crazy person. I've been exposed to all the same
news programs you have. You said the legal age of consent should be age
14. Sheldon, I remember myself at age 14. Like most teenagers I
thought I knew everything but no way in hell was I mature enough to be

entirely different thing from horny teenagers.

Sheldon, I am easily as hypersexual as you, but I never felt that I, or anyone else, should
pursue "as much consensual sex as possible," and folks who feel that way are the reason
that we need governmental controls on sexual interactions. I shied away from sexual
activity that I thought might be harmful to the other person, especially any sex that
could have resulted in pregnancy.

You wrote, "Age has nothing to do with maturity," then immediately used the phrase, "immature age."
I was mature enough at 14 to never engage in potentially reproductive sex. A problem is that the
most anti-sex folks also promote ignorance. They are against comprehensive sex education.
Their focus is on morality, rather than practicality or utilitarian ethics. They push abstinence
coupled with ignorance because they believe in their patriarchal mythology.

Are you saying you want permission from President Pussygrabber before
you have sex?

Sheldon, please stop talking about teen and pre-teen girls and sex.
You are making me sick. I don't understand why a normal, healthy male
of your age would have any interest in discussing this subject.
This is just slimy.

Maybe he'll get busted someday for downloading child porn.
Hopefully, he's not that dumb.

Raising a teen girl can be a handful once they think they
know everything. A good parent(s) has to often be the "rat"
and not agree with their nonsense.

Old joke:
"God invented teenage girls so the parents won't miss
them so much once they grow up and leave home."

My wife comes home every day after teaching at school with new horror
stories of preteen pregnant girls. The school nurse has to hear about
how many of those girls don't know how they got pregnant and then
needs to meet with the parents, usually just one, the mother who's not
much of a mother nor at all cooperative because it's one of her
boyfriends who's paying their rent. Often the girl's mother was no
older than the girl when she was born. Just when you think you've
heard everything it gets juicier, a lot juicier. And these are not
always poor people on welfare, often quite well to do.

A couple years ago I was chatting with a woman in the kayak club about
generations, how many there are in a century, or how many generations it
would take to go back a couple hundred years. She was shocked at a
comment that I made and said is was really bad, but that she could not
disagree with it. I said that it depends on the type of family, whether
they came from a family of doctors and lawyers or if we were talking
about a welfare family. Some of the children of welfare families are
grandmothers before the daughters of the more affluent have their first
child.

That's a laughable question to ask her: Which is worse? The horror you hear about? or the horror you don't hear about?

That's maybe because the Hennessy Bras Armé Cognac, or whatever, flows a little easier. I wonder if this was illustrated by the last 10 minutes of the Hogan's Heroes episode called: 'The Great Brinksmeyer Robbery' (Season 2 Episode 18). Getting a girl drunk and passed out.

Thank you, Janet. I'm sorry I even bothered to try to contradict such
slimy statements as "legal age should be 14". Mea culpa.
