I use it for my hard anodized pan. No detergent.

My pans rarely get that dirty. If I get some oil polymerized on,
I use Bon Ami.

I have it. I use only on my cast iron. Works good, looks good, feels neat using it.

I treat my one Calphalon hard anodized like cast iron. The chain mail scrubber
doesn't seem to scratch it at all. In a few years, that pan will end up at Goodwill,
and I'm sure it will hold up fine until then. I agree that it's fun using it. I originally
bought it to clean my wok. There are no sharp surfaces, so it doesn't seem to
damage the HA surfaces, and yeah, it "feels neat using it."

No, I use a 3-M green scrubber on my stainless steel plus Bar Keepers
Friend if I need to remove any stains. It makes it look brand new again.

Wasn't it kuth that tried to use a dremel grinder on his pan, but
burned the damn thing out?

Yes, our resident 'electrical engineer.'

That looks a little harsh there. I use a cheap Korean pan. It performs great and is dead easy to clean.

I have similar ones, in SOS pad shapes, that are made of copper. They
don't have detergent in them like the steel SOS pads. They last nearly
forever... slowly wear down, but of course, they don't rust. I paid $1
for a 3 pack at the dollar tree, and I'm still on 1 of 3 a year later
(although it's about half of its original size)! That was a very good
purchase.

Yes, and then the goof said the threw it out and boiled the pan with
water or vinegar (as we suggested)... surprise, it worked like a charm;
but he took credit for the idea.

Not a Dremel grinder, but the Dremel Versa cleaning tool.
