I have been asked to look for Farman's brand Homestyle Dill pickles. The
large whole ones. I am thinking they are a discontinued item and that
perhaps even the company is no longer operating. They appear to have two
websites with two different contact numbers and they seem to have merged
with other companies such as Nalley. That particular item is not listed on
either website. I tried contacting them via email last Fri. No response.
Called both phone numbers. Got answering machine on one website and just a
fast busy signal on the other.
Decided to look at websites online that sell pickles to see if I can find
something similar. Seems that Barry Farms is down (although now selling on
Amazon) and so is Alice.com.
Does anyone know of a similar pickle that I might be able to purchase
online? Have not seen anything similar in the brick and mortar stores.

For online orders, they only ship to certain areas and expect you to be
a "business" customer, not an individual. Amazon Fresh also offers
these pickles but will only ship the product to Los Angeles and Seattle.

No. I didn't miss the point but you seem to have missed *my* point. I can
find no large homestyle pickles of any brand and that is what this person
wants. I'll even order a case online if that's what it takes. I just can't
find them.

It's not for me. It's for someone else. I asked the person to do me a
favor and they are. But they asked me to do them a favor and see if I can
find these pickles for another person because those are the only pickles
that other person likes. Yes, another person pickier than me! I will eat
most any pickles unless they have a lot of garlic or heat to them. Not that
I eat pickles often. I don't. I do like them. Just never think to eat
them. Except for the other night when I spent hours searching. Then I
really wanted some and ate the last of my dills. Had to buy more. Bought
Sweet Creek Farms.

last night I tried the Nalley sweet pickles and didn't care for them so
much. Would probably be okay chopped in a salad but they had a very biting
quality to them as though they went heavy on some sort of spice. And it may
well have been cloves which I shouldn't be eating. I did get very itchy not
long after I ate them. So... I won't be finishing that jar!

It wasn't my husband but another family member who wanted them. They live
in another area and couldn't find them there so asked me to look out here.
Not a problem since I go to several stores a week. Just annoyed me that I
couldn't even find them online because I can usually always find stuff
online, although I might not like the price.

I use Swagbucks as my search engine. I generally get the same results as
Google would give. But in this case, it gave me two different
manufacturers. It would seem that there are three different places that
make this brand of pickles among other things. Or perhaps two used to make
them and now only one does. I do know that Mr. Farman died in 2004 and I
think someone bought the company. And I could be wrong here but I think
someone also bought Nalley who is another brand that is connected to
Farmans. We have an area here that used to be referred to as the Nalley
Valley and it no longer is. But perhaps Nalley just moved somewhere else.

I did not know that but that would explain a lot! I know that I will get
different results on my Ipad than my computer and even someone else in this

I am looking for the same pickles and not having any luck. It's the only brand I like and am getting desperate.thereis every kind except the large 46oz dill pickles
