I went shopping at the butcher shop a couple miles down the road from
me. I was amused at the sign in front..... We Have Flower and Yeast

It's no secret that I am not a baker but I do notice when I go down the
baking aisle at Kroger the flour shelves are empty. Empty every week
but plenty of sugar. Cornmeal is rather scarce as well.

I just happened to stock up on most everything a week or so before the
shut down. I got big bags of both kinds of flour and no inspiration to
bake.

I stocked up as well but not because I foresaw a run on it but because
of the obvious restrictions that would come because of the virus.
I've put a temporary halt to making bread. I have some in the freezer
but I have put on 3 or 4 pounds that I attribute to snacking on the
damned stuff! I like it too much.
